@GenWithaG123 I can see a use for these as deterrents against package theft. Especially if you can’t afford a real system or simply have a LONG driveway where they sometimes deliver and can’t easily install a real camera.
Item came today very well built, kind of tricky to get to the battery compartment, you will need a Phillips head, remove screw holding the lens, it is below the lens, pull out lens assembly several parts will fly out, the battery compartment will reveal it self very cleverly hid. takes 2 AAA batteries, (NOT INCLUDED),Reverse the procedure to put back together. You will now see the red flashing Led on front of the great looking fake lens, this camera also pivots, not much, just up and down, your gonna need a drill because the camera is mounted with screws, unless you decide to use Velcro not included, INCLUDED are>>> 3 screws 3 mollys, 4 fence stickers saying 24 HOUR SURVEILANCE I used 1 screw to mount one to a fence post, camera was very tight and not moving, also has a fake cable wire coming out the back ( How Cool), very well packaged, 2 per box at under $4 bucks each this is great and with member ship, free ship, awesome. This is rated for indoors, but I’m saying they are indoor outdoor in my humble opinion. Great job Team Meh !! P.S. I would have never found the battery compartment if not for the photo instructions in the box, it’s well hid.

These are dum.

@goldnectar I know, I was just making a play on words, sort of. I haven’t slept yet.
This would be good for my fake warehouse company
Pro tip: don’t bother putting batteries in these, because the real ones rarely light up with LEDs.
If they had IR LEDs that gave that dim red glow at night that would be a better use of batteries and a more realistic look.
@djslack Thought the flashing red led was fine, for 4 bucks it’s a dam good replica.
Thieves around here are so brazen that they look the camera right in the eye as they walk off with packages or bicycles left outside.
@Kyeh True they cover up, cameras are useless
but better than nothing at this price.
