@ELJAY I used to think a knife was fine, but I got a similar contraption to this and for some uses it’s just so fast compared to even a competent knifing.
And compared to a powered food processor it’s cheap and easy to clean and lightweight (but it won’t as easily reduce stuff to paste).
I don’t know that I’d recommend one like this, I like my circular-cranking kind, but conceptually a whirling fine-chopper does have its uses.
But not two of them, unless they’re flimsy enough that they’re going to break, and then two of them isn’t enough!
@klynb I can appreciate that conceptually. However, the vast majority of foods that you would employ this chopper for consist of vegetables, nuts & herbs, which are “Pareve”.
For cheese, this can’t work as well as a manual (rotary or box) grater, and you would end up with mush if you tried using it on a piece of meat.
There are some things where two can be reasoned into logical. But then there are others where it seems to make little sense.
Two when they are cheap and two of them totals $15, perhaps $20.
But 2 x $20 would appear to greatly limit the number of interested parties.
Conclusion: either meh doesn’t have very many of these so even at the double price, they hope they’ll sell out… or Meh has a shitload of these and is desperate to unload them, even to the exclusion of price-quantity-packaging sanity.

Yay, thanks for fixing it!
You’re gonna love my nuts.

@fuzzmanmatt alright, I’ve edited this four times, I give up on finding a good tag for what I want.
@duodec this is a blast from the past
Maybe one, (for a person who should probably work on their knife skills instead), but who would possibly need two of these?
@ELJAY me

@ELJAY I would need two because I can never get it right the first time!
@ELJAY If you only need one, go to Amazon and save $10 of the price of two here.
One for each hand.
@ELJAY one for travel, of course. How else are you supposed to chop on vacation? Or would you rather spend hundreds of dollars on vacation food?
@ELJAY People who keep kosher need one for meat and one for dairy.

Just my $0.02
Ugliest lamp I’ve ever seen.
@awk Had to use those leftover Dyson parts for something.
@awk Exactly what I thought On first glance.
Chop Chop. Hurry up. I am hangry.
OMG they replaced glen with a damn chicken. Meh dare them!
My first thought: “Hmm that’s an expensive air freshener.” Then: “Oh, those are onions. That’s the worst kind of air freshener.”
Two of these is kinda silly, unless you’re running a weird prep line and you trust your prep cooks with powered sharp things.
@Felixaurelius Or you don’t trust them with unpowered sharp things.

One for veggies and another for nuts and sweets. Or I may just gift it. In for 2.

@RedHot that’s a nicer picture than I got when I tried!

That thing look exactly like the Mars Attacks t-shirt. I would never be able to look at it and not hear “Ack! Ack! Ack!”
Excellent anti-marketing.
why does that purple cuppy thing remind me of something Madonna would have mad a bra out of?
