@outz Even that would be too small. The smallest water bottle I have now holds 24 ounces and I want to get a bigger one. Maybe if it held 32 ounces, I might have been interested.
@rpstrong Thanks, I see that now. Makes it even less useful for me then.
When I’m away from home, usually at the gym, I’ll drink plain water so a regular insulated water bottle is sufficient. I personally do not need to store a soda can or beer bottle in any insulated fashion for my use case scenario.
@cengland0@rpstrong Or a water bottle with Evan Williams (diluted, of course) it. Maybe some soda water or 7-up. Just don’t do that with Woodford Reserve.
How long are you keeping your bottle or can that you need to insulate it?
Then what do you do with this thing when the bottle is empty? Carry it around?
@mcanavino They are great at the beach, where they both disguise what you are drinking and insulate it a bit from the intense sun/heat. I would imagine also at the pool where broken glass may be a risk.
@mcanavino@steelersluver
Yes. That! You can keep a beer outside in Alabama for a couple of hours in the summer and it will stay cold in this type insulator. I have some similar from Sam’s (Cold One) that we use all the time and love for poolside. Even took some on our barefoot sail cruise in the Caribbean last time to keep the shandies cold on board.
Scenario 1 is taking a cold drink out of nearby fridge/cooler and putting it in one of these, then next one will come out cold so need for it then either. Empty goes back in cooler or recycling.
Scenario 2 is carrying it away from the cooler so now you have an empty bottle and a heavy thing to lug around.
Just either use a soft koozie that folds up, or be serious about your drinking and get a 32 or 40oz insulated bottle.
@Fuzzalini@mcanavino No these would be too obvious for drinking and driving. When I graduated high school, and that was 40 years ago, in fairness, but back then I found these vinyl wrap-around labels for 12oz beer cans, with realistic-looking logos that said Caco-Calo or Dr Peeper. and so if you put that around your beer can, at least it gave the impression at quick glance that maybe it wasn’t beer that this teenager had in the car. Of course back then cars didn’t have cup/beerholders, so that was another issue…
@chienfou@mcanavino@steelersluver “I don’t know why I hate this so much”…
is what people often say when they receive their order from Meh!
(1-6 weeks later.)
and then we come back and say
“Thank you Sir, Meh I have another?”
@mcanavino@steelersluver during the summer when the family is hanging out at the pool I will often keep a beer around for over an hour. If I’m staying out poolside for the day i can’t toss them back faster than they get warm and not risk drowning at some point…
I looked at the exploded image in specs and it shows a brew covered in condensation. If it was properly insulated, wouldn’t it prevent that? Stinkin marketing.
@ypwulby They must have listened to you - the ‘Picture Window’ option was removed from this offering. They apparently decided that insulation trumped being able to watch the beer level.
[And before you comment: does that brilliant Trump bon mot that you just thought of really add to the discussion?]
There are places where I want a beer where I’m not supposed to have a beer. This isn’t just an insulated bottle holder; it’s bottle camouflage.
/image quickest-notable-spark
I have a few of these. They are handy by the pool to prevent broken glass. The can one will even prevent spills if you act semi-quickly. However, the black and dark blue coolers get crazy hot on the outside. To the point you can’t easily pick up your cold beverage. Other colors may not have this problem.
@chienfou I’m confused about your complaint. The front page of meh says “2 for $22.” Is your issue with Meh Stalker? Because that’s run by fans of meh.
Threw down for these bad boys. After one can, it works ok. A couple of drops escaped into the can… but I’m ok with that amount of leakage. Haven’t tried the bottle one, yet.

No thanks–I pour my beer into a glass like a civilized adult.
@dvermilion Now if Meh would sell these, I’d be in for sure!
Or I’d have to ask my mommy since I’m not old enough to have a credit card.
@pmarin To be fair I’m not sure anyone’s old enough to have a credit card. (╭ರ_•́)
where the 16oz bottles at
@outz Even that would be too small. The smallest water bottle I have now holds 24 ounces and I want to get a bigger one. Maybe if it held 32 ounces, I might have been interested.
@cengland0 @outz Except these aren’t bottles, they’re insulators for your favorite bottle (or can) of beer or soda - where the 12 ounce size rules.
@rpstrong Thanks, I see that now. Makes it even less useful for me then.

@cengland0 I don’t work out, but when I’m cutting/splitting wood, a repurposed Evan Williams jug with tap water is my usual go-to.
@cengland0 @rpstrong Or a water bottle with Evan Williams (diluted, of course) it. Maybe some soda water or 7-up. Just don’t do that with Woodford Reserve.
I bet this won’t arrive before the Super Bowl. Speaking of bets, who’s gonna win?

Why does this exist? WHY???
@mcanavino Meh keeps finding and selling things I never had any idea I needed.

@mcanavino For drinking and driving.

@chienfou @steelersluver but why are you drinking one bottle of beer over a period of hours?
Scenario 1 is taking a cold drink out of nearby fridge/cooler and putting it in one of these, then next one will come out cold so need for it then either. Empty goes back in cooler or recycling.

Do you need your open beer to stay cold longer than it stays carbonated? Well then have I got a product for you!
@japraptor Doesn’t quite sound like this one. From the description above:
What’s the point of we don’t leave the house?
@rmeden sigh. so much this.
@rmeden
Backyard?
Another Shark Tank failure?

How are there no, “Who wants it in the can?” jokes yet?
Can never be too safe or too insulated these days.

For a moment, I thought you were selling something useful.
@blaineg Then it wouldn’t be Meh.

This is very functional for a Floridian whose beer gets warm almost instantly 8 months out of the year. In for 2.
@osiris3mc
Ditto for Alabama most of the year!
Where did they all go - it’s only 9:30 am. Not fair!!!
I bought one of these last year after seeing the ad a million times during mobile games. I didn’t really notice any difference so I stopped using it.
Only a few more days til my Mehmbership comes due. Thanks for keeping it easy to cancel.
Kind of bummed by the misleading price. $11 each in pairs. Not what it looks like on front page…
@chienfou I’m confused about your complaint. The front page of meh says “2 for $22.” Is your issue with Meh Stalker? Because that’s run by fans of meh.
@Willijs3 yeah. I guess it’s really meh stalker that screwed up. I didn’t notice that difference when i clicked thru. Mea culpa.
BrüMate or bust. Sometimes you need to pay for quality.

I ordered a bottle keeper and can keeper. Got two bottle keepers. I guess I can try to crush the can so that it fits into the bottle keeper.
