I received this in one of my IRK’s, used it while camping and it worked perfectly! I live in California and occasionally we receive blackouts so I’m happy we have this just in case we have another blackout
@erthian@pattyrusk1 I know, right? I always get a case of TrackRs, a pink glitter case to some ancient apple product and some ridiculously small or large item of clothing.
@erthian yes, I did receive this in one of my IRK’s
Sometimes they’ve been amazing and sometimes not so amazing but they are always entertaining either way. To be fair, I’ve followed Meh since they were Woot
@erthian@ohhwell@pattyrusk1 I am willing to pack up a bunch of trackRs, some paint, 1A car USB chargers, and some very large ladies underpants (unused, sorry if you were hoping for maybe used). Just for price of shipping which is not cheap these days.
@troy Thanks for checking. I emailed their customer service asking about the bad link and got no reply over several days. So here’s hoping there is no need to make a warranty claim. Must be a small operation there, though that in itself is not bad.
So far the product is fine. No regret (yet, ).
FWIW, at a hundo and a half, this is a very good deal. Because it’s Li-Ion, I’d recommend a full charge, then discharging down to like 60-80% for long term storage
Couldn’t find a spec for if pure sine wave or “modified” which used to be the common cheaper way to do it but the pure sine wave electronics are more reasonable now.
@brad10104 Damn, now sorry I didn’t get one. Surprised it wasn’t spec’d more visibly. (actually, I remember now, I was about to order one and the Refurb version had sold-out, 'cause when I take a risk I like to do it cheap!)

how many amps on the AC?
@Digital_Warrior 500 watts divided by 120 volts = 4.16667 amps.

@Troy @dave
The link above for warranty brings up a 404 page.
@phendrick Tells you all you need to know lol
@phendrick warranty is still in effect. Will see what is going on with the page
@troy any news? Link still 404.
Same thing happens going through their site via product page.
@phendrick Received word that the link won’t be restored, but the warranty included in the box is still valid.

I have one of these, and it served us well during the week after Beryl came through.

@pmarin looking at the spec sheet that is sent with it, it says the AC outlets are Pure Sine Wave.

@pmarin Yeah, the same happened to me regarding the refurb/new, but I was okay with spending the extra $50.
Got mine today (first day of the estimated delivery time by Meh).
Plugged it in and nothing. Not sure what’s going on (probably I’m not seeing a button to press) but called the support number and left a voicemail.
I’ll update once I have more information.
