My wife watches all those crazy YouTube makeup videos (mine are all power tool videos, thank you AvE) and says she’s never heard of this brand, so that doesn’t bode well. I grow a beard to cover my ugly, so I guess we’re out.
@fuzzmanmatt@szanolli yeah mainly a skincare brand. I love their sunscreen but it is too expensive for how much i use so i use blue lizard.(hey meh if you have a cheap sunscreen let me know they mKe wonderful skin care)
Also the instant blur thing is better called primer.
@fuzzmanmatt it’s a skincare line, ulta carries it. This is actually quite an expensive skincare brand but they also make skincare infused makeup but it’s not as popular
@gnext2 don’t do it, why would you ever give someone you care about concealer? unless your just giving away the lipstick or its a white elephant gift I would avoid it.
@gnext2 This would be an incredible gift for most makeup/beauty enthusiasts. I purchased the set when Meh featured on September 16h, then again during the Meh-rathon two days ago because I was so happy with the products. If you purchased these items separately on Perricone’s or Sephora’s website the cost would be $145. The lipstick retails for $30, foundation at $60, and blur $55.
I’m familiar with this brand; it is generally considered more of a ‘luxury’ skincare brand and this is a crazy good price if it is what you want. Think of these as tinted skincare products and not specifically makeup (hence the “no makeup makeup”: it’s supposed to look like you aren’t wearing any.) The foundation is liquid and not a creme. I like it a lot and I use a blender sponge with mine. The lipstick is more of a balm with a translucent color, so do not expect something heavily pigmented. I haven’t used the primer. I’m in for 1. Thank you for attending my Meh-talk.
@chmodsusan are the shades natural or do they stand out a lot. I like to wear a very sheer foundation day to say but i cant handle when it looks like i dipped my face in a paint bucket
This is a well-known quality brand. Each item is a nice basic product to have. I’m giddy by the price and only wish I could stock up on it (foundation color changes as it gets old).
I subscribed to buy this kit on morningsave but I was too late to get my shade. The foundation alone retails for $60 at Sephora, $36 at Costco. This is a smoking deal for the kit. I’m trying to improve my skin and wear less makeup (masking covers half my face anyway) and this fits the bill.
@saralorine I’m all in favor of wearing facemasks in public. I was going to get some line fillers and expensive junk like that, but hey, now I can just put a mask on.
I’m feeling adventurous and will give it a try.
Usually junk that claims to “blur and minimize the look of pores, redness, wrinkles, and fine lines both instantly and over time” in my case means “highlight and intensify wrinkles and pores” as well as “enhances scars previously forgotten about”.
Pleasantly surprised! I thought it’d be crap like all the other crap out there but lo’ and behold it’s actually good stuff! Wish I would’ve bought more. @lisaviolet thinks primer is funny. Okay, she’s right! But…better than calling it “spackle”! Oh George!!! Have you seen the putty knife!!!

Wasn’t this just in the (J)Irk-off (I’m sorry, Mehrathon) at the same price?
These are not batteries.
It’s the no-make-up make-up? It’s still foundation and lipstick. And “blur” – whatever that is. Concealer, it sounds like. How is this not make-up?
@katbyter It’s also not batteries. I feel your pain.
@katbyter it’s a primer. No makeup makeup it a style of makeup, it’s just enough makeup to look like yourself without changing too much.
My wife’s in for mossy-barbarous-tarzan
@sixfootgeek mossy barbarous tarzan?
I hope that’s not what the make-up makes her look like!
Hard to see what color to choose, TBH.
@Mandamm look at swatches online
@Mandamm There is a foundation match tool on Sephora’s website that I used to help determine my share.
@Mandamm *shade
@ATanYam @Mandamm Took me a minute, but I found what you’re talking about. https://www.sephora.com/beauty/foundation-shade-finder

@fuzzmanmatt actually Perricone is a fairly expensive brand, mostly for their skincare though. It’s usually at Ulta or Sephora.

@fuzzmanmatt I got it a couple times ago and it’s great!
Who wants meh-kup?

Is all 3 in one gift box? or are they individually boxed? Thinking about xmas
@gnext2 don’t do it, why would you ever give someone you care about concealer? unless your just giving away the lipstick or its a white elephant gift I would avoid it.
@gnext2 They were individually boxed when I got them off of here a month or two ago.
@gnext2 @wendyccastillo The blur isn’t concealer, it’s primer. This is a really nice set for a great price. I’d be thrilled if someone got it for me.
@gnext2 @wendyccastillo it’s a primer
@gnext2 @wendyccastillo it’s not concealer it’s a primer and lightweight foundation and lipstick… it’s really great, I love mine!

I haven’t worn makeup in years.
Primer? They sell primer for faces now? Oh. My. God!
@lisaviolet yeah it makes makeup stay on for longer
@evangalia I never wore foundation or anything like that, nothing on the skin, it never felt right, I was into eye makeup.
Then came the age where putting eye shadow on was like (to use what another online friend said) putting makeup on a scrotum. Perfect description.
@evangalia @lisaviolet eyeshadow primer would actually help a lot with that and the sensitivity of eyelids

@saralorine Im pretty confused by this whole thing. Its so cheap here buy so expensive everywhere else. Why doesn’t anyone want it?
@erthian based on the comments maybe meh isn’t the right audience for luxury skin care; the top shades sold out on morningsave so I’m stumped
@saralorine I’m all in favor of wearing facemasks in public. I was going to get some line fillers and expensive junk like that, but hey, now I can just put a mask on.

I ordered 2 sets ( 1 BLUR, BEIGE SERUM & BERRY LIPSTICK; 1 BLUR, NUDE SERUM & ROSE LIPSTICK)
I received:
1 BLUR,NUDE SERUM & ROSE LIPSTICK(so far so good)
2nd BLUR (still looking good)
1 BUFF SERUM (???)
1 IVORY SERUM (???)
0 ROSE LIPSTICK (???)
Hmmm…1 missing lipstick, 2 serum in colors I didn’t order (and one that I definitely can’t wear).
