I bit this time. I think it’s the old packaging, but this product is usually crazy expensive. Hopefully it will keep my newly 40 year old skin looking like I’m still in my 20’s. I still need to find me a husband, after all.
@Woody1 Absolutely Preparation H has been the youthful regenerating miracle for generations. Put it in a pretty package and then you can charge 50 bucks for it. What did P.T.Barnum say? (well they say he didn’t but you gotta believe)
@mike808 Not necessarily. There can be clinical studies on products that prove efficacy that aren’t monitored by the FDA. Generally speaking though, commercial store products have about a 30% efficacy.
Source: I am in the anti-aging industry in private sales and almost want to buy this to do a live comparison of my clinically proven products (with 80-95% efficacy) against these.
@eonfifty Good sources of phenylalanine are eggs, chicken, liver, beef, milk, and soybeans. Another common source of phenylalanine is anything sweetened with the artificial sweetener aspartame, such as diet drinks, diet foods and medication; the metabolism of aspartame produces phenylalanine as one of the compound’s metabolites. So why pay $50? Drink a Diet Coke or have they been hoarded as well?
I love the comments every time Meh puts this up for sale. Long story short bought it twice, wife likes it. It’s not estee lauder renutriv but it’s good.
Well, I’m running low on my current products, so I’ll give this one a whirl. I haven’t been impressed with the ones I’m using. I hope my confirmation code isn’t predictive though: naughty-renewed-mole.
@nimrod mine too. It has gone back and forth between IN and MO. I am giving it a few more days before contacting CS. You can always send them an email to see if they can assist!
I ordered 3 of these. 2 gift orders and one for personal use. Sadly 1 of the gift orders I sent was never received…it arrived at the post office, but was not delivered and without notice, was returned to sender. We were tracking the order every step of the way and expected delivery.
Although I was refunded the money, I would have rather had my gift re-sent somehow. Instead I was referred by customer service to the sister site so I could reorder if I would like for $30 more than this deal. No thank you. Very disappointing.
How about a firm No.

@Liga66 I think 40 year old women are hot! Wait…you are a woman, right?
I’ll take “Bad Mother’s Day Gifts” for $400, Alex.

Only for face?
@medz Do you need to firm something else?
@awk @medz Which something else?
@awk @mike808
/giphy winkie
@awk @medz I meant which something else, from the several choices available. If it works on all of them, as the kids say,
I like this stuff for the price. I’ve bought it twice before.
@spiciernoodles So you ending result was a happy one?
@arfdawg yeah. Each box has lasted me a few months as well.
@spiciernoodles Wow. Months of happy endings for fifty bucks! Seems like a no-brainer.

I’m not a doctor but I play one on the internet.
Two tubes of hemorrhoid creams and some aloe for $5 = same result.

@Woody1 I once saw a Prep H ad which claimed that three out of ten Americans suffered from hemorrhoids.
Does that mean that the other seven out of ten enjoyed them?
@Woody1 Try to find aloe now. Everyone’s trying to make hand sanitizer
Could this be the answer to the age old question? Or is that the old age question?
@hchavers in this case it’s both!
If these actually did anything, they would require FDA approval for the claim. Since they aren’t, these are literally guaranteed to have no effect.
A firm pass.

You put the ingredients for the facial cream twice but none for the moisturizer?
@ikickedagirl Fixed.
No price comparison? I don’t think I’ve seen that before on Meh (I’m relatively new to the site).
@Citymars , on their site, $800
@Citymars @pweeks Walmart $150.
@arfdawg But sold on the Walmart platform by “Deal Appeal Corp.” with no reviews.
@obxer So look on QVC. They hawk this goop all the time.
Phenylalanine?

@eonfifty Just don’t eat it if you have Phenylketonuria (PKU)
just in time for Mother’s Day!
I use this to speed-turn my grapes into raisins. Works on plums too…
@Bumplepimp wouldn’t plums turn into prunes, not raisins?

The Neuropeptide Firming Moisturizer (in the brown jar) alone is $290 on Amazon. Good reviews.
