On a Binge
2Due to previous commitments, I have watched very little television over the years. Now I find myself with some excess time on my hands and have discovered the joys of Netflix, Crackle and more.
What do you suggest I watch? I prefer series over movies, but am open to everything.

Lost
Breaking Bad
Dexter
To name a few...
@jsh139 Yes, Dexter 'twas quality.
Black Mirror is a great Twilight Zone like show about technology. Six episodes @ 45 min each.
@Willijs3 One of the best shows in recent years. No episode is real dud, though some are stronger than others. I wish the Christmas Special would get added to Netflix. It was incredible.
@Willijs3 Sounds interesting.
I was sick for a few days last year and my guilty pleasure was to watch the entire Eastbound and Down series front to back. Maybe not the absolute best thing I have ever seen, but it made me laugh hard.
I'm not sure what's on Crackle, but there is SO MUCH on Netflix.
Here's my quick list off the top of my head kind of in order from what I think you should watch first:
Breaking Bad
House of Cards
Firefly
30 Rock
Arrested Development
Black Mirror
Orange Is the New Black
Sons of Anarchy
The Office
Parks & Rec
Bojack Horseman
The Fall
Enjoy your 100s of hours of catching up!
@JonT of this list I second: House of cards, Arrested Development, Orange is the New Black, Parks and Rec. I add Weeds.
@JonT I'm already on the last season of Sons of Anarchy. I was thinking about Orange is the New Black next.
@JonT +1 for OITNB on Netflix. Also Marco Polo was a reasonable distraction (also on Netflix). If The Americans is available on Netflix, throw that one in there too.
We've been watching Rake on Netflix. It's Australian and really good.
@mfm24 And 'The Booth at the End' on Hulu (free version) is one of the best series I've seen. 5 short (23min) episodes per series, all set in the same booth in a diner. It's mesmerizing.
@jsh139 @willijs3 @mehdaf @JonT @connorbush @mfm24 Thank you for your great suggestions!
Amazon:
Justified (SoA Venus (Walton Goggins) is a main character)
Bosch (SoA Jimmy O'Phelan (Titus Welliver) is the lead in this)
@lisaviolet Thank you!
Some excellent suggestions in this topic. To add another: Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt on Netflix is funny if you're into Tina Fey's writing and 90's references.
Sherlock. Only 9 90 minute episodes, so not difficult to catch up.
