@Felton10, why pays $2.25 mo & maybe shipping cost? Especially if your being chrg $5 + your state tax ea month by meh regardless,…or am I missing something [which is Not that unusual].
@abhinkhanna, Pleeease, explain to me how that is a better deal than paying meh $24 + tax & free shipping. It seems the quicker shipping is irrelevant. Since you were doing just as well without it, what’s the hurry¿?
@abhinkhanna you got here late to the party. The original price was $29 making the Amazon deal better. So down below, you can see a message from dave where he lowers the price from $29 to $24. Now it really is lower than Amazon if you already have a membership here.
You came and saw today’s price at $24 so some of the comments here might not make sense to you unless you knew about the higher price that showed at midnight.
I’ll wait and see if meh adjusts the price when they see it’s available on Amazon direct from their price comparison for 50% off. Maybe lucky and get it for $20. If only I had this 3 weeks ago when I started actually trying to lose weight.
@FreePasta@lichme one day shipping? Lucky. I have two Amazon shipping hubs and a warehouse in town, and I still have to wait a week for two day shipping.
@FreePasta@lichme, I’m so confused,…why need it asap when you didn’t have one before tonight? It’s not a defibrillator, or some emer-gency device!! What’s the fn hurry¿?
@1DisabledWarVet@FreePasta I have a scale, but it does no tracking. I’ve lost like 17lbs in 3-4 weeks, and for tracking purposes and goal progress having that data sooner will help with a lot of stuff. It would be nice to be able to reflect the overall progress sooner if it only starts from when you start using it.
@FreePasta@lichme, of course, as usual, I didn’t think the ‘what if one is dieting’, so it does makes sense to track it sooner rather than later, in that case. My Bad!!
@1DisabledWarVet@FreePasta@lichme There are plenty of reasons a scale is an emergency device. For instance, you could be standing on one side of a ravine with a rope bridge that has a 200 lb limit, rushing to get to some artifact before the bad guys, and not be sure how many situps you have to do to safely cross the bridge. You’d feel pretty silly in that scenario not paying for expedited shipping…
@FreePasta@lichme@smerk85, as an ornery fn cantankerous old cuss, and being disabled, I would feel silly as hell as to why I would even be standing, much less near a bridge even imagining I could do sit-ups, or > that!! Moreover, I can’t dream of replacing Jimmy Page & playing Kashmir, or Black Dog with Led Zeppelin either, but jamming with Metallica, that would be as easy as jumping off that bridge you dreamed up!! LOL!!
@1DisabledWarVet@eeterrific@jaybird@Kerig3 With the Bluetooth connection, the app can tell the world your
Body Weight
Body Fat Percentage
Visceral Fat
Skeletal Muscle percentage
Resting Metabolism and BMI
That’s the kind of information I want on the interwebs.
@katbyter, I only weight 133 lbs [average] most days so does I really need one of these Moron, rather Omron devices¿? I still might get 1 with my $1400!!
Always fun when a surprise coupon pops up at the last second. And 50% off!
Anyway, we’ve dropped the price here to get it below Amazon by a little, but obviously if you’re Prime & not a member here, go ahead and get it over there. If not, it’s now at least a little cheaper here. (And we’ll refund the difference for those who bought it before we dropped.)
@dave, I don’t see any price drop!! It was $24+ tax when I signed in at about 11:15 CST & is still the same same, but I will check again later on in the morning & may still buy it for the $24 price tag. I really do wonder how one can tell if their skeletal muscle #s are bad How would you fix that problem¿?
@1DisabledWarVet The original price was $29 and was lowered to $24 so you are already seeing the reduced price. A lot of activity already occurred before you signed in at 11:15 CST.
@dave Maybe someone at Meh is feeding secret intel to Amazon so they can fuck with you and make you drop the price. Notice after you dropped the price the coupon went bye bye. Very interesting.
@dave@Lynnerizer Since they dropped the price to compete with Amazon tells me they could have sold it for $ 24 originally and still make money. Something to think about.
This would have sold out if it was sold in January. Meh, don’t sell chocolate bunnies in May, pumpkins in November and noble fir trees in January or scales in March
@hchavers@mehcuda67@RiotDemon, or you could buy 3 & set your fat ass down on the third one [ur ass does not really have to be fat, I just threw that in].
All I want is a scale that can measure body fat% more accurately than my Eufy or the “Escali” (from meh back in 2016). My Tanita from ≈ 2002 is far more accurate - and still works so…
@RiotDemon@Trinityscrew, I’m not sure about now [10:46 PM CST, it’s Monday tonight], but I checked it out last night & asked for this brand [didn’t use d link someone here had n their comment last nite] & it took me to the One on brand where Amo said the coupon I clicked would be applied at d time of purchase. That said I did say I’ll still buy it here IF I bought one, but have since decided to wait + I only have 2 min to buy it here & I’m to lazy to rush, so,…1 min!! Now, it’s 11PM here, so it’s too late baby, now it’s too late WOW, I’ve turned into Carole King…
@cobaltcars This is very similar too the very first item I ordered on Meh. The one I have is missing the Bluetooth. I used it once, too depressing, and now the batteries are dead.
@cobaltcars, don’t bring up pastries because meh will dig up some [almost expired] Stroopawafles,…hell, I may’ve forgotten how to spell those fn Caramel goodies!! I still have 2 packages that expired sometime in Feb, but they’ll likely taste the same as they always do, since they’re individually wrapped.
This is too confusing for a Monday. First the site doesn’t update to the new item at 12 AM. It is selling for $ 29 and if you click in Amazon with their 50% off coupon it is cheaper at $ 26.25. Then Meh lowers the price to $ 24. And now this morning the Amazon coupon is no where to be seen so their price is back up to $ 52.50. WTF.
@ciabelle My job this month is to totally accept blame for everything-even things that I don’t know or care about. I appreciate you pointing that out to me.
If you have an implanted cardiac defibrillator (ICD) as I do, the manufacturer advises you avoid these scales because the electric current they put through your body could interfere with the ICD.
I have a different brand, but I’m pretty sure they all use the same chip to do the processing. Seems to work pretty well considering the price. Some of it is table look-up or a simple formula, of course.
@MINUANO68 Would you really prefer that another device connects to your Wifi and has complete access to your internal network? It’s those IoT devices that get hacked.
If you are smart enough to figure out how to isolate your devices so they don’t have access to other items on your network then you might be okay but I would venture a guess that the majority of buyers wouldn’t know how to protect themselves.
Might be an interesting device to have, but the reviews of the Omron apps (at least the android ones) are mostly terrible. More trouble than it’s worth…
Easily one of the crappiest things I’ve ever bought on Meh, which reaaaaaalllllllyyyyyyy says something. Hyper-ly over-engineered, useless, ridiculous, bells-and-whistles none of which work, garbage. HOWEVER, it’s going to be exceptionally fun to smash a’ la Office Space. I think I’ll make a video of it. Cue the music!
I like mine. I setup the app to sync with my Samsung health app, so I don’t really use the Omron app. Of course it’s replacing a 20+ year old Tanita which while accurate is not “smart”

Front page seems to be broken and keeps showing yesterday’s item.
KuoH
@kuoh The technical term is “Shit be broke.”
Is this the thing?
@bmartinez1384, No,…the technical term is, Shit be the Thing!
Why doesn’t the show on the homepage couple minutes after midnight?
@cengland0 See above. “Shit be broke.”
I am so confused
@tinamarie1974
Yep, shit be confusing.
So did someone go on vacation? I’m still waiting for that meh-rathon.
@oluminuminum im guessing its gonna be a saint pattys day meh-rathon
Why isn’t the page showing this? Still seeing razor.
This feels like a secret deal. But, you know, really meh.
Me thinks somebody forgot to spring forward?
lol, the part of the backend that posts the item on the forum sprang forward, but the part that actually posts the item for sale didn’t.
Wonder if it’s broke broke or if we just have to wait an hour.
Amazon has it for 26.25 (@ 50% off).
@Felton10
I saw that too… not much of a bargain!
@Felton10, why pays $2.25 mo & maybe shipping cost? Especially if your being chrg $5 + your state tax ea month by meh regardless,…or am I missing something [which is Not that unusual].
@Felton10 Not no mo, ya greedy bastages!
Any interest in bartering?
I have a banana
@lichme, That’s What She Said!!
Thanks for the amazon link. got it for $26
@abhinkhanna you’re right, after 50% off coupon, it’s $26.25, Plus tax.
@abhinkhanna @cengland0
And with faster shipping.
@abhinkhanna, Pleeease, explain to me how that is a better deal than paying meh $24 + tax & free shipping. It seems the quicker shipping is irrelevant. Since you were doing just as well without it, what’s the hurry¿?
@1DisabledWarVet @abhinkhanna 2 day shipping. 5% credit card cash back. Return policy.
@abhinkhanna you got here late to the party. The original price was $29 making the Amazon deal better. So down below, you can see a message from dave where he lowers the price from $29 to $24. Now it really is lower than Amazon if you already have a membership here.

Switch up two of the letters in the product’s name, and this scale ain’t so “smart” anymore.
I’ll wait and see if meh adjusts the price when they see it’s available on Amazon direct from their price comparison for 50% off. Maybe lucky and get it for $20. If only I had this 3 weeks ago when I started actually trying to lose weight.
@lichme
Yeah.
The linked Amazon listing is the one with the coupon.
@FreePasta I saw that and updated as you posted. Thanks!
@FreePasta @lichme one day shipping? Lucky. I have two Amazon shipping hubs and a warehouse in town, and I still have to wait a week for two day shipping.
@lichme
Ha!
Meh lowered the price.
(For Prime members, the Amazon listing is probably still the better choice, especially if they want the scale as soon as possible.)
@FreePasta I ended up going with a different brand on Amazon for a couple extra dollars.
@FreePasta @lichme, I’m so confused,…why need it asap when you didn’t have one before tonight? It’s not a defibrillator, or some emer-gency device!! What’s the fn hurry¿?
@1DisabledWarVet @FreePasta I have a scale, but it does no tracking. @FreePasta @lichme, of course, as usual, I didn’t think the ‘what if one is dieting’, so it does makes sense to track it sooner rather than later, in that case. My Bad!!
@1DisabledWarVet @FreePasta @lichme you could just weight for it…
I’ll see myself out (again).
@1DisabledWarVet @FreePasta @lichme There are plenty of reasons a scale is an emergency device. For instance, you could be standing on one side of a ravine with a rope bridge that has a 200 lb limit, rushing to get to some artifact before the bad guys, and not be sure how many situps you have to do to safely cross the bridge. Thank God, now I can go to sleep!!
@tinamarie1974, that’s what she said!
Internet of scales? Meh, do not want.
Wow. That’s a hell of a coupon!
Why would I need a scale to tell me I’m fat?
@eeterrific But this one vocally body shames you until you’re crying. Luckily I already have children for that.
@eeterrific @Kerig3 one of the students at school told me I had chubby legs on Friday.
@eeterrific @jaybird @Kerig3, this🦵, or this🦿?!! That wasn’t racist, was it?¿ If so, my Bad!!
@1DisabledWarVet @eeterrific @jaybird @Kerig3 With the Bluetooth connection, the app can tell the world your

@eeterrific @jaybird @Kerig3 @mehcuda67,talk bout airing ur own dirty laundry, or about throwing your own self under the bus,…Sheeez!!
Now looking at it, for the price and review comparisons, this one may be the better value, even if meh drops the price:

@katbyter, I only weight 133 lbs [average] most days so does I really need one of these Moron, rather Omron devices¿? I still might get 1 with my $1400!!

@gustador It really surprises me to see you’ve been here since 2016.
@gustador Welcome to Meh
What is the maximum weight this scale can display / hold? Um, asking for a friend.
@hchavers 330lbs.
@hchavers @RiotDemon Pro tip - you could always buy two and put one foot on each.
@hchavers @mehcuda67 @RiotDemon, or you could buy 3 & set your fat ass down on the third one [ur ass does not really have to be fat, I just threw that in].
Come on Meh… adjust adjust adjust… just like in Top Gun… eject eject eject!
I don’t need no stinking scale to tell me how sexy I am!
@Kerig3 just can’t bring myself to click the star on that one. I get close and then he comes at me and I run.
@ybmuG I’ll click it for you.
I was thinking, for being 68 years old, Ron Jeremy can still strut around like the old days!
All I want is a scale that can measure body fat% more accurately than my Eufy or the “Escali” (from meh back in 2016). My Tanita from ≈ 2002 is far more accurate - and still works so…
@bakerzdosen Cool story, bro/sis.
@bakerzdosen Try out body-fat calipers, they are cheap and may be more accurate than these scales.
Will this scale thingamajig do it’s magic if I weigh my dog on it¿? I’m asking for a best friend!
I don’t see no stinking Amazon coupon. I see the screen captures here but I’m not seeing a coupon on the Amazon site. Maybe it’s gone already?
@Trinityscrew looks like it’s gone.
@RiotDemon @Trinityscrew
Could be a seller subsidized coupon with a budget cap to goose sales. End of budget = end of coupon.
@RiotDemon @Trinityscrew, I’m not sure about now [10:46 PM CST, it’s Monday tonight], but I checked it out last night & asked for this brand [didn’t use d link someone here had n their comment last nite] & it took me to the One on brand where Amo said the coupon I clicked would be applied at d time of purchase. Man
NOBODY wants or needs to know the info this scale offers. I can be fat and depressed for less. How long before MEH offers a case of twinkies?
@cobaltcars Did you miss the stroopwaffels?
Or, dare I say the “C” word, Candy Corn?
@cobaltcars This is very similar too the very first item I ordered on Meh. The one I have is missing the Bluetooth. I used it once, too depressing, and now the batteries are dead.

PS: Yes, I’m aware that analog (mechanical) scales are still available. Thanks.
@Citymars They probably got battered enough being stepped on every morning.
well, I got my scale, and I hope I have 4 AAA, cuz the ones that shipped with are MEH!!! DOA
@Mandamm That was fast, though!
