I prefer Bolle sunglasses because of their “Thermogrip Rubber.” Whatever that stuff is made of, it keeps my sunglasses in place no matter how many quarts of sweat and oil are oozing out of my face. It usually takes some searching around to find a non-douchey looking pair, but I’ve been lucky enough to find them.

I’ve seen this laser test in person, back when I worked for an e-commerce company that specialized in sporting goods. We were able to place various brands of sunglasses in front of the lasers and Oakleys were the only brand that was optically correct. Ray Bans were one of the brands we tested. They did not fare well. If you’ve ever had a headache after wearing sunglasses for any length of time, this is why. Your eyes are constantly having to make minor adjustments to focus.
Sun glasses are a last resort when I’m stuck driving on some east-west road behind some polished mirror of a vehicle that’s shooting focused death rays into my eyes.
Naute Sport… extremely lightweight, extremely durable (frames are guaranteed for 1 year), and can usually pick a pair of polarized ones at race expos for about $25. Best part is they come in a nice purple!
Oakleys are the shiznit Only trusted brand I will wear for hours. I have other pairs I keep in vehicle as emergecy or if I’m going somewhere during the day to party Haselm or something like that and Ray Dawgs I believe both were like $20-30 each. All my Oakleys retail 3 to 4 times that. I already knew law enforcement uses them and I figured if they trust Oakley so much to sign eyewear agreements with them
With me being a person of interest must need to wear such eyewear as well to remain as such.
D) None of the above.
@yakkoTDI
Don’t forget to put the money you save not buying sunglasses to use later for cataract surgery…
Maui Jim’s or Bayz
Subscription Transitions!! Yeah, I am a real dork in real life too.
Is that how one pluralizes Oakley? Or are Oaklies the ones the guy with the “rolexxes” in his trenchcoat can hook you up with?

They are both owned by Luxotica and Luxotica has too much of a stranglehold on the eyewear industry tbh so they both SUX 6000.
@GLaDOS
Oakley lenses are way better.

Can’t stand the visual distortion.
@InnocuousFarmer See video above. It really is true.
Persol. Also owned by Luxotica. But like Maui Jim, they have glass lenses and that makes a world of difference. Also, I only buy polarized.
I still lose sunglasses frequently enough it’s not worth spending the premium for nice ones.
@jitc
yep…DollarTree FTW
(can’t believe I am the first to post this…) *
*never mind… see below
@bocoroth wow… you literally did this while I was pasting in the link above! Good Job!!
Whatever I can get for about $20 on Amazon is what I go with. I’d buy good ones if I didn’t lose everything I own.
Shady Rays. Great style and they replace them for free if they break or get lost

@whomeyesu first responders wear Oakleys because Oakley has a significant discount program.
