@Collin1000 Yup, so now the poor of Allentown can be ultra poor! Btw, it should also be noted that Dwayne Johnson only attended 11th and 12th grades there.
@AnnaB why? I never understood this, if there are sources for everything there should be no reason to not allow it. Wikipedia has come a long way from anyone being able to edit any article willy-nilly. Plus no book or other physical media will have the most up to date information like Wikipedia will. I say get with the times and embrace the internet information age.
@JonT It's like using a shitty version of Encyclopedia Britanica, however that's spelled. Lazy. That's why I don't allow it. 😃 Not because I have not embraced the age of technology
@Cinoclav And I thought that Indiana was the home of weird city names: Santa Claus, Popcorn, French Lick, Brazil. Or little towns named after big cities: Columbus and Nashville.
@luvche21 In Indiana, PA of course! It's a little over an hour east of Pittsburgh. Home of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, which I once upon a time attended. There's also a California, PA and of course it has a California University of Pa. IUP is actually a huge university.
@luvche21 No, I think PA wins the name contest. Intercourse, Blue Ball, Bird in Hand, Big Beaver, Virginville, Rough and Ready, Climax, Eighty Four... it goes on and on.
This 'video' is just one of the many reasons that I love Meh.
Uniquely entertaining. Been there, seen that! Glad you didn't touch on the fact that the demise of Bethlehem Steel really decimated the local economy.
@Cinoclav Well, I mean they did build a giant casino on top of the former manufacturing giant's plant. So there's that.
@Collin1000 Yup, so now the poor of Allentown can be ultra poor! Btw, it should also be noted that Dwayne Johnson only attended 11th and 12th grades there.
@Cinoclav Obligatory:
My former boss is in a band that performs at the casino.
Just Born is also there. What would the holidays be without Peeps?
@Mavyn And Mike and Ikes!
@jsh139 I miss Mike and Ikes. :(
@Mavyn Uh, go buy some.
@Cinoclav I could...but I can't eat them. Allergy issue. Pretty sure a box of Minion Mike and Ikes are in the house somewhere.
Brilliant. A mediocre song about a mediocre city, but you nailed it. I know new things now.
That was awesome.
I don't allow my students to use Wikipedia as a resource. How mediocre of you...

@AnnaB Who cares? This is not your student's paper.
It's possible AnnaB is "having some fun" with us, but we're preemptively protesting our final grade just to be safe
@matthew Yeah I realiazed that. What a shame... 😣 probably I am still too stressed out.
@JasonKim I was trying to be funny. Clearly that was a great big flop. Ah, well. Maybe next time. Certainly no offense meant
@AnnaB It's my bad, and I'm sorry. I am probably too stressed from the final.
Makes me wonder where Irk is from. Mehthlehem ?
@mehdiocre_user Sometimes we think meth-lehem.
Living about 35 miles south of Bethlehem, I approve of this video.
@jsh139 I'm about the distance North. :)
I moved there and survived middle and high school.
My high school was the Rocks high school.
I thought that Santa Claus Indiana was the Christmas city...
@luvche21 Ironically, Indiana, PA is oft considered the Christmas tree capital of the U.S.
@Cinoclav Is that where Indiana University of Pennsylvania is located? 'cuz that's just confusing.
@Cinoclav And I thought that Indiana was the home of weird city names: Santa Claus, Popcorn, French Lick, Brazil. Or little towns named after big cities: Columbus and Nashville.

@Cinoclav Yep, PA wins. Well, I guess we've both been to Indian University... of different states though.
@Cinoclav When I first moved to Pgh, I was confused when people said they were going 'up' to Indiana.
