@capguncowboy@troy I liked being able to click on a photo to see the next one. On a PC, I only get a tiny sliver of the next thumbnail to click on. No apparent ability to click to scroll. Much less intuitive, and almost like pixel hunting.
@capguncowboy@ciabelle I hear you and had the same thought. A little frustrating and less intuitive, but I found out you can hold Shift and then scroll (while hovering over the image bar) to scroll through.
@ciabelle@troy On iPhone 15 Pro, the Meh button is cut off such I can’t click it and only see a tiny sliver of it. Trying to scroll sideways just shows a black portion of screen. I have to turn to landscape mode to see and click that Meh button.
@Granite_Grizz yeah…I hate to be one of those folks to immediately dislike something just because it’s ’different’ but I really prefer the old design. The ‘our take’/‘your take’ is fun, but some of the graphics are just too big. The ‘our community’ tiles seem huge and overly graphics heavy. Am I going to lose sleep over it? No. Is it as bad as changing the corporate name from ‘mediocre’? No, but I don’t like it. Because it’s different? Maybe. Because I truly don’t think it is an improvement? Absolutely. Is asking and then answering my own questions even worse than the design changes? Undoubtedly. And more insufferable, too. Any change should be on a day with a speaker dock as the item so we know you remember where you came from.
I bought my wife the C-shaped pillow last time they were selling then and she uses it every night and loves it. She’s 5’1" if that’s helpful to anyone. My 6’1" ass did not find it comfortable lol
Lol I’ve been eyeing one of these on sidedeal for 2 weeks waiting for my next pay check… and I was able to use my meh coupon and score it for just $5… thanks!
Some other ones claim to have an inner zipper that makes the pillow fluffier (by squishing the width of the pillow into a tighter bag) https://www.amazon.com/MIDDLE-ONE-Cooling-Pillows-Sleeping/dp/B0CVX3W2FH/
(There is a sponsored pillow on the ‘AZ’ that’s just $20… for the pillow itself; the breathable case is an extra $12)
@RogerWilco Similar. I bought the body and C-shaped pillows last time they were both offered and found the C-shaped one fairly useless for me, but really liked treating the body pillow as a really long knee pillow. As the weather got colder, its “cool cover” became less enjoyable, but I kept it in place, pining for the warmer days (which have started returning!).
tl;dr: I like the body pillow as a long knee pillow.
On iPhone 15 Pro, the Meh button is cut off such I can’t click it and only see a tiny sliver of it. Trying to scroll sideways just a black portion of screen. I have to turn to landscape mode to see and click that Meh button.
Bought the C pillow last time- a bit odd, but mimics my sleep position using three separate pillows. Basically comfortable, but a problem if you flip from one side to the other in your slar phase.
Not seeing the new site design on Chrome for Android, either in desktop version or mobile version…
@hudsonaccount@pmarin I have my doubts that this one-day “blackout” will show any amount of economic power, given that there have been plenty of one-day boycotts in the past that have had no effect. I would think that it would take a huge number of consumers to have any economic effect at all on huge companies like Walmart, Target, and Amazon, and I just can’t see enough people willing to do that for the time it would take to make a significant dent in corporate quarterly earnings. But I do understand that the motivation this time is a bit different than in the past. It’s not to have a signifcant economic effect after one day, but to show in one day’s sales what a future effect could be if it were multiplied by many, many days. But in the end, I expect the corporations will call our bluff because they know there won’t be enough people willing to participate for a long enough time.
I am genuinely curious if there have been successful economic boycotts in the past that were on a scale that affected very large national corporations. Yes, I know about the incredibly effective Montgomery bus boycott , but that was just one city.
I also got the Nue pillow wedge. It was MUCH smaller than I thought. When I read it could be used for ‘reading a book,’ I pictured a larger size. I should have looked at the dimensions. The pictured pillows are also probably smaller than they look in the picture.
I, too, appreciate the Amazon comparison price!
I bought the body pillow and I really, really like it. Because of a shoulder injury years ago, it can hurt when I sleep (on my side) unless my arm is at shoulder height, parallel to the mattress. The body pillow works well for that and I can also put it between my knees to be even more comfortable. It was a good replacement for the one I got for $10 at Ocean State Job Lot a few years ago. Now I just have to cut and sew together two or three pillowcases to make a body pillow one.
Bought the C-shape pillow and found it never expanded to a fully “puffed,” rounded cross-section as shown in the photos. Relatively flat shape doesn’t provide the support I expected and need. This purchase was a waste of money for me.

Foam? Like on top of a beer?
What’s with the new format? Have i missed this update?
@capguncowboy You’re right on time
@capguncowboy @troy I liked being able to click on a photo to see the next one. On a PC, I only get a tiny sliver of the next thumbnail to click on. No apparent ability to click to scroll. Much less intuitive, and almost like pixel hunting.
@capguncowboy @troy It looks the the format is the old way on Chrome, but I guess I get the mobile version on Brave? Horrible!
Note my futile effort to drag the mouse to scroll…
@capguncowboy @ciabelle I hear you and had the same thought. A little frustrating and less intuitive, but I found out you can hold Shift and then scroll (while hovering over the image bar) to scroll through.
@ciabelle We’re doing a phased rollout so we can get a little A/B testing in. Shouldn’t be long before it is rolled out to all users.
@ciabelle @troy On iPhone 15 Pro, the Meh button is cut off such I can’t click it and only see a tiny sliver of it. Trying to scroll sideways just shows a black portion of screen. I have to turn to landscape mode to see and click that Meh button.
Wow, new site design. I liked the old one, but this might grow on me.
@Granite_Grizz Like gangrene?

@DavidChurchRN You have a 6’1" ass?! Have you talked to Guinness?
@DavidChurchRN @troy It’ll take a LOT of Guinness to achieve a 6’1" ass.
@DavidChurchRN @mehcuda67 @troy And you buying the Guinness is how they pay for printing the book.
@DavidChurchRN Fun fact of the day: The world’s tallest ass is Romulus at 5’8"ft tall
Lol I’ve been eyeing one of these on sidedeal for 2 weeks waiting for my next pay check… and I was able to use my meh coupon and score it for just $5… thanks!
I bought the body pillow before. Not as full as I would have liked but still not too shabby.
@RogerWilco was is this one?

I dunno. I think I’ll sleep on it.
“AI” is as shitty as the redesign gallery.
i was all excited, thinking this was a 3 pillows bundle for one price.
Anyone know where I could buy covers for the more unconventionally shaped of these?
@DVDBZN Have looked many times with no results so another meh click from me.
On iPhone 15 Pro, the Meh button is cut off such I can’t click it and only see a tiny sliver of it. Trying to scroll sideways just a black portion of screen. I have to turn to landscape mode to see and click that Meh button.
Like that you get “Cool covers” but what sort of “antimicrobial?”
Don’t really want to rest my nose on a heap of Triclosan.
@pmarin I’m hoping it’s just zinc oxide
https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7922637/
Why are my order names always so disturbing?

/giphy numb-awful-hamburger
@pmarin actually that looks pretty good
Hehe hehehehe boobies
Anyone else not like the new site layout? My adhd is screaming at the loudness.
And I liked to see the Amazon price listed. Not some arbitrary high number.
Definitely going to take getting used to.
@gwrankin It confused and angered me.
Having trouble scrolling through the pictures, what happened to the site? Looks like a backwards update
oddly, my arrow keys scroll through the pictures nicely.
of course, I am on an actual computer, not the pocket computer.
@ekw Oh, hey, that’s cool! Thanks for pointing that out.
Now, if I can find some way to remember it tomorrow…
Bought the C pillow last time- a bit odd, but mimics my sleep position using three separate pillows. Basically comfortable, but a problem if you flip from one side to the other in your slar phase.

It’s economic blackout day, capitalist swine.
I sure wish Meh was participating in the no shopping day so we cn show what economic power the public has…
@hudsonaccount unfortunately

We all know the wedge pillow is not for reading a book. Don’t pull the wool over our eyes.
@OnionSoup Don’t worry, it is microfiber instead of wool.
I also got the Nue pillow wedge. It was MUCH smaller than I thought. When I read it could be used for ‘reading a book,’ I pictured a larger size. I should have looked at the dimensions. The pictured pillows are also probably smaller than they look in the picture.

Do we need to be pregnant and/or sexually deviant astronauts to buy these?
@steelopus no but it would help
I bought the body pillow and I really, really like it. Because of a shoulder injury years ago, it can hurt when I sleep (on my side) unless my arm is at shoulder height, parallel to the mattress. @ItalianScallion They do sell that size pillow case:

@Kyeh Thanks, but it’s about time I got off my lazy butt and did something useful with some of many pillowcases I have.
@ItalianScallion Oh, good for you, then!
Bought the C-shape pillow last time. Not only is it good for side-sleeping, but you can twist it around you for sitting up with back AND leg support.
Bought the C-shape pillow and found it never expanded to a fully “puffed,” rounded cross-section as shown in the photos. Relatively flat shape doesn’t provide the support I expected and need. This purchase was a waste of money for me.
@hinsonsd is it slippery for you too?
