Not a VMP???
4I tried to buy the last 2 deals but they didn’t go through due to not being a VMP. I am a VMP! And it said so on my check out order! Got through to buy the latest IRK on my phone no problem, but of course it was sold out as I expected. The Meh scarf I told my husband to buy for me. Why am I considered not a VMP???

You have the membership not the grandfathered VMP, according to your profile at least.
People who are VMPs are like tenured professors, except you can’t become one anymore. You have to be loyal “from the start” to get the goodies.
Sad. I remember the Fukubukaro days fondly. When there was no VMP class to look down upon us.
Wow. What a blow! Lost my VMP status when my card was compromised a year or so back. Dammit!
@Teripie I lost mine when I canceled it because I hadn’t made a purchase in months – there really wasn’t a reason to keep it at that point
@Teripie I’d contact CS and see if they will re-instate it. I know they’ve done it for some (ex)VMP’s who had a credit card problem.
It looks like this happened to you in January of this year.
@Barney Thanks Oh Purple One! The really weird thing is my Hubby’s expired a few years back for the same reason, compromised card. He called someone there (there being Meh, or Dallas, or someone,) and was reinstated. He just now got the latest IRK. Took a long time for that IRK to sell out. Guess there are not that many day one subscribers.

Ugh, I should be a VMP, too, but because of some jackwagon who hacked my card, I’m screwed, too. NO BUENO, MEH!

Rejoined (bought the membership) specifically to get Fukobukuro bag. Could not buy it because I am no longer VMP.
Ok, I understand that it is for VMP members only, no problem. I do need a refund though on my unwanted membership in that case.
