I’m a programmer but I bet that stuff is more complicated than anything I do so not very useful for the stuff I’m involved in.
@cengland0 Check it out, you might be surprised. It’s not all rocket trajectories and climate models. There are data & image processing tools, server management, etc. Of course, most of it is written in FORTRAN, so if your toolbox doesn’t include that, you’ve got a little more work to do.
I love the eclectic group we have…shared this with the code monkey son and he is impressed!
I can’t believe meh folk aren’t all over this one.
This one is very cool.

It’s not code; it’s an iPad app with photos and history of the NASA Glenn Research Center. It has photos from 1941 to 1979. Guess which decade this one is from.
Also, you can save a lot of scrolling by going into Advanced Search and disabling “U.S. Government Purpose”.
I’d already heard of it, but Open MCT is my favorite. It’s software they’re starting to transition their mission control rooms over to using, but it’s really useful for anything where you need to be monitoring data, like automated systems or sensors. It runs in web browsers and it’s even mobile-friendly!
