@Kyeh@mycya4me I mean. The cats would be supplemental. They come in pairs. Preferably litters. They will annoy you, climb on everything, break shit, try and steal your food, and drive you insane. But sure with some vetting and range limitations.
There are five sleeping on me atm. My dad acted like they have all just been wild strays cause KitKat and then some of the kittens used to hide. Nope. They will like people. They just aren’t used to random people showing up. Kitkat used to ride around on my shoulders ffs.
@Kyeh@unksol Trust me. Cats know who is a Cat Person! In other words they know who will make a good servant to their whims!
Most of the Cats I have had/ Owned me were strays! They worm their way into your heart. Then when it is their time to go (most of the time pass on as their time on earth is done) they leave a Huge hole in your heart.
But also if you don’t submit to their will they will find someone else that will. They prefer a lease with an option!
@Kyeh@mycya4me strays can work. This mess is all indoor. Almost 75% have never ever been outdoor. They just haven’t had random people over. But since they don’t know what danger is. I bet you could shake treats at them.
That being said. Some dont like being picked up. There are too many to track keep off the counter although if you call their name they will look or come. If you point a spray bottle they will abandon what they were doing but just try again.
But almost all will come for snuggles and scritches and pets. Sleep on you if given the opportunity. So. They are fine. In a less competitive environment. Nevermind when they get older. They will improve.
I never had an Inside ONLY cat. Remember that a Stray or they might have had another Subject that they don’t like anymore so they are looking for a New person to own & Command! New born kittens that never been outside or had a different person does not know any better, the power they have.
@mycya4me All my cats started as strays although one was an abandoned 10 day old kitten whom I had to bottle fed. She lived until 3 weeks shy of 20. All my cats, past and present are indoor only cats. I’ve only had 3 escape over the years once each. And they all came back several hours later after whatever adventures they had. One discovered she didn’t like grass and only walked on the cement. That first batch (who escaped when my kid didn’t shut the door) went outside sometimes on a leash and enjoyed themselves. When I was a kid we had indoor outdoor cats. One was a riot in the snow. We’d lob a soft snowball over her head, she’d jump up to bat it and fall on her back in the snow that was often as high as she was. She’d want to do that over and over.
Now THAT’S an IRK! Congrats!
That’s so cool!!! Does the fountain actually work?
@Kyeh I haven’t tested it out yet, but I’ll keep you posted
That fountain is cool.
Also, please give your cat a head skritch from me.
Very cool!
Wow!
THAT is a FANTASTIC fountain, I’d LOVE to see it up and running!
Wow, I thought that MEH was now giving away CATS.
@mycya4me Our current goat @unksol will probably give you one if you want …
