My libratone speakers died, any diy tech fixer people out there?
4Well , I bought a 2 pack of speakers from meh the rectangular libratone ones. They were working great until they stopped charging. I opened one up and the 18650s are fine and I can charge them on a charger but it won’t charge from the port anymore. All the wires are correctly connected. The thing will try to power on since there’s just barely some juice left in one of them.
I guess I took this risk for buying from a dead company on meh but I enjoyed them and don’t want to spend more money but my 2 yr old daughter is really bummed as she loved caring the speaker around blasting tunes while I did chores.
Anyone have any insight? Anyother way I can hack this thing back to life?

Also the 18650 has 4 wires. One black, one red, and two yellow. What are the yellow ones? Some kind of additional battery management system? Because if I could just set it up to be a simple 18650 swap maybe that would work but I don’t want blow my 2 year old up. She’s really a sweet kid.
The two additional wires are likely to monitor the voltage and amperage. Are you able to post any photos of the guts?
When you charge them externally, do they run the speaker normally (loudness & duration until recharge needed)?
