I wonder if this day in 1935 was the beginning of the end for me, was it fate, was I destined for alcoholism? Maybe it was just the beginning of the BEST years to come! It WAS/IS pretty darn sad when a 9 or 10 year old child feels the NEED to drowned her sorrows in a can (or 5 to 6) of beer stolen from dad’s “beer fridge” in the basement!
Thank goodness I found sobriety at 25 years old. More than a lifetime for some, for me, it was the beginning of life!
As for the peanut butter and jelly sandwich, I’ll hold off for Tuesday the 26th, when we’re celebrating Peanut Brittle! YUM!
Don’t ask what happened to my goal of eating healthy, it’s probably at the bottom of my party sized bag of caramel M & M’s!! Lol says piggy pig…
