@mycya4me
What makes you think that?
I cannot remember the last time I drank more than a couple of drinks. And the last time I puked after drinking was more than several administrations ago.
@chienfou Well I try to follow a rule. My face don’t belong where my Rump belongs! Since I don’t consume such “Spirits” I rarely need to visit Ralph & make offering to the porcelain god!! it is NEVER a good time!
I drink. It’s very rare I drink a lot… I don’t tend to get hangovers though. Not bad ones like you see people from the movies anyway… Sometimes just a little bit nauseous if I’ve drunk a lot.
There’s usually two thoughts on what makes someone virtuous that I like to apply here:
1.) you accept the indulgence once and then learn to steel yourself from it
2.) abstinence
The first (tried it, liked it, never again) is the equivalent of an alcoholic who has gone through successful rehabilitation and then goes to a bar to test their sobriety. Which is possible (see: Amish), but most will fall back into temptation again very easily (“slippery slope” and all that; also see: Amish).
The second is, well, you know it’s tempting, but because you never experienced exactly how tempting, you have more familiarity with staying where you are. (Easier “to have never loved at all”.)

That’s a thriving business these days. There are even rolling infusion centers in Las Vegas and some other cities that you can have pick you up.
I don’t Drink as I don’t want to have to Visit with Ralph!
@mycya4me
Moderation is the key…
@chienfou @mycya4me I used to try ration mode but after the first few drinks it pretty much went out the window…
@chienfou @macromeh You must love visiting Ralph & making offering to Him!

Eat before I crash, and smoke a bowl! No hangovers!
Sleep until 2pm.
@tweezak That, and then the other first three.
Prevention - I don’t drink enough to get hungover.
@Kyeh Same, but not due to drinking responsibly. I pass out way before I have enough booze in me to get a hangover from it.
Abstinence, or at least moderation.
Another vote for moderation.
IMHO if you’re getting a hangover you’re doing it wrong.
I have never had a hangover. Something about my system has fortunately made me immune.
Um… more drinks
@DemonMF777 Hair of the dog! Does your dog bite? No. Chomp! That’s not my dog.

Water, lots of water, even in between drinks.
A fresh slice of NY pizza.
I’m too old for hangovers. I rarely drink anymore though so I suppose I’m in moderation as well.
Well, I do drink but not a lot.
When young it was the couch and painkillers.
I’m not as much fun that way anymore

Best hangover remedy

Yeah. After that happens I hope I’ll feel fine.
