@macromeh I’m with you. I broke the Talus bone in my left foot. Two pins and three screws put the pieces of bone back together. It’s never been the same since and arthritis is setting in. Not the greatest but such is life.
@accelerator I fell off a roof and broke my calcaneus (heel bone) into 5 pieces. 32 years ago next month . The x-rays look really weird with the screws jutting at all angles.
@accelerator@macromeh
No fracture here… rather, mine was an Achilles tendon rupture after falling off a ladder while using a pole saw. That recovery was a pain in the ass (so to speak)
My feet are really neat. I rarely fall down with them around. Ten toes and two heels rounds out the deal. There’s nowhere I can’t go, through the mud or even snow. Maybe someday I’ll sit down but for now my feet are on the ground.
The Englishman says I have hobbit feet. Not because they’re giant or hairy or gross, but because I walk barefoot constantly and very little bothers me. Either growing up in south Louisiana trained my feet well, I have an insane pain tolerance, or I’m just not a delicate flower like the pale blue man from a far distant shore? I’m all about the freedom of the feet. I lift barefoot and have barefoot shoes. Not so much in the shop. I do wear protective coverings around tools because I need to keep the toes.
@sillyheathen I have them all, surprisingly. However, one grows thicker and not longer (I call it my gross toe) and two currently have bruises under the nails.
They really ground me.
@yakkoTDI but do they take you places?
@sillyheathen Yes they do. They help push the pedals on my bicycles and I see all kinds of places.
How do my feet smell if they don’t have a nose?
@Luko26 so true!
@Luko26 They smell awful. When was the last time you washed them? They should never have mushrooms growing between the toes.
are made for walkin’
And that’s just what they’ll do
One of these days my feet
Are gonna walk all over you
All of the above at some time or another
At 73, I got good feet… take care of them and they’ll take you places.
/showme feet that can smell
@mycya4me You know, dinosaurs had really smelly feet, but now they are all ex-stinked.
My feet are FLAT!
You know if your feet smell and your nose runs you were built upside down!
They keep me happy. Without them I would feel defeeted.
/giphy rimshot

They’re toeriffic!
My right foot and I get along great. My left foot is a real trouble maker. (It may have something to do with the metal plate and five screws in it.
)

@macromeh ouch!
I have two in original condition and if they were cars would be considered antique.
@Kidsandliz that just means they don’t make em like they used to!

Swell.
It’s super annoying.

I’m a runner so use your imagination. I also have been battling plantar fasciitis for the last 4 months or so.
@kittykat9180 how many toenails are you missing?
@sillyheathen I have them all, surprisingly. However, one grows thicker and not longer (I call it my gross toe) and two currently have bruises under the nails.
I can honestly say they are fine, they prefer to be free from shoes.
