@andyw I don’t count this as exercise because I enjoy it so much. I am mainly off road and sometimes road. I need to finish putting parts on that frame I bought right before the plague struck.
Lap swimming is the best. Road biking next, then running. Whatever it is, it’s gotta be outside. Elliptical is the worst, and I assume was designed by the US government to torture information out of “guests” held in Guantanamo…or something like that.
@Tadlem43 This! Hey, i got plantar fasciitis one time from constantly pushing off the corner of my coffee table to rock. I guess that’s as good an example as any of “no pain, no gain”
@chienfou Gardening is also my get outside thing. I’m doing the no till/raised bed thing. There’s not enough space in my yard that doesn’t have buried tree roots or rubble.
I have a whole routine I do with a trainer. She’s sweet. I was super nervous when I started because I don’t like being yelled at, but it’s turned out to be great fun.
Or, they’re the cable company Customer Service rep who can’t escalate a call to someone that can fix the internet until after you’ve tried turning everything off and back on, unplugged and replugged all the wires, read the fine manual, and then transferred back to the hold queue and the infinite joy that is “Opus #1”.
Swimming, although my lung capacity isn’t so good anymore. Cross-country skiing. And kettlebells, especially kettlebell swings. Not that I’m consistent about doing any of these things, but I enjoy them when I can talk myself into doing them.
Sex.
Elliptical trainer FTW.

The only exercise I enjoy is biking outside (road and some dirt roads). I use an indoor bike in the winter, but it is not fun.

Elbow bends.

@phendrick Oop, I see @shawnm beat me, while I was posting – but mine has a good giphy, too!
@phendrick And “elbow bends” makes it sound a little more like a legitimate exercise!

Usually in the fresh air, but Starbucks has better wi-fi.
Gardening/yard work
Currently I’m pruning all the fruit trees.
I’ll till the garden spot shortly
@chienfou Nice! Growing muscles while you grow food!

Running because it burns a whole of of calories quickly.
I don’t actually like running but I dislike running less than I dislike being fat.

@kittykat9180 @yakkoTDI I like his take on tanning beds.

I almost chose lifting but I don’t know if remotes count…
