Whole pumpkins of the “larger than a basketball” variety were $1 today at the local Wal-Mart. Guess I will try to keep them to make pumpkin soup etc if the weather EVER cools off. It’s still getting in the upper 80s during the day and hasn’t rained in over a month. SIGH
My pumpkin is full of ants. But less mushy. Nice video!
Did anyone else find that video oddly satisfying?
@mehdaf The use of gloves threw me. I would have done it bare handed.

That ax…terrible flashbacks.
@Collin1000 good archival skillz! It’s a splittin’ maul, though.
poor pumpkins.
I dropped my pumpkin off at work for a competition. Then I went on vacation. I really hope someone threw it away by now.
Our work pumpkins were growing a nice beard of mold by Thursday.

@chienfou carving pumpkins aren’t very good for eating from what I’ve heard.
I’d try to keep it to carve something for thanksgiving.
I finally saw a pumpkin in real life (not this one, a different one).
