@brennyn well said. Better to have asked do you like mulled wine and I would say if it’s good or maybe even just if it’s mead, almost bought some at Trader Joe’s today but was afraid I might look like it so I didn’t do it
@brennyn@Cerridwyn@Kyeh
I had that sitting in my basement for years. It finally got thrown out bc I figured if I really wanted it I’d buy a fresh bottle or make my own.
I remember (barely) drinking something called “Caribou” in Quebec City during their Winter Carnival. It came in a walking cane. The top unscrewed and was the head of this creepy ass looking mascot!

Sit in front of a roaring fire with your true love and a bottle of Three Buck Chuck. Discuss Socrates, Kant, Lincoln and Martin Luther King Jr. What did they do for society; what wine did they drink while doing it?
You have now perfectly mulled wine!
@DrWorm having a large section of my family I’m Germany, I’ve known about Glühwein for a while, but it’s strange… It wasn’t until this year that I’ve noticed it really showing up everywhere in the US.
On end caps at all the stores, for sale here on meh. Vendors selling it at all the Christmas markets. It’s like how krampus made his way to America in a big way about 20 years ago, now it’s the turn of mulled wines.
Aldi has Glühwein for the season as well as a cherry and apple flavored mulled punches. We preferred the cherry but all of them were enjoyable on a cold evening with the snow falling outside.
It’s bad if it’s bad mulled wine. This question is like “is soup good?”

@brennyn @Cerridwyn I think you have a talk-to-text fail here, maybe?
@brennyn @Kyeh yep I was afraid I might not like it I think I don’t remember it was late last night

@brennyn @Cerridwyn @Star2236 You didn’t even try it first??
@brennyn @Kyeh @Star2236 so sad

I know, I was in a cleaning mood.
Mulled wine must have started on a cold winter night when the tongue was frozen.
Heavy on the cinnamon and light on the cloves
@ybmuG No flaming rum punch or is it not cold enough for that?
Could be good, could be bad. I’ll have to mull it over.
I’d probably say it’s “bad” if people like it who like pumpkin spice flavoring.
Where’s the “don’t drink don’t care” option?
I like it. Therefore it is good.
Glühwein in a mug while Christmas shopping in Germany!

Wine is so far off my radar, this is the first time I have even heard of “mulled wine”.
