“The N-Tunes aren’t a perfect 10, and the price is steeper than I prefer for a pair of on ears—$149.95—but they delivered above-average results, and big sales were easy to find online.” - Reviewed.com
“Monster shows a MSRP of $150, which may be a bit high; their sale price of $100 seems a bit better, but I still think they should have included a storage pouch of some sort.” - the-gadgeteer.com

@jsh139 lol. Actually it was like... 3 ninja edits. Started with "first" then switched to "third" then made it a real comment. Then edited again to correct autocorrect errors. That stupid content reflects more effort than i put into my job today, i think.
@DaveInSoCal because everyone near you likes to listen whatever music you're listening. And why would you need headphones when no one is nearby to disturb?
@gregjames2000 We've gone through like 10 pairs of Five Below headphones. The connectors are just crappy. At first I said the same thing, but I'm starting to think that it's the headphones themselves as the kids really are pretty gentle with them.
'varied price @ amazon' is that so they don't have to admit they start under $30 shipped? yes, you can spend more @ amazon if you choose.... too many headphones and speakers on here as it is... and then pricing above amazon - what gives meh?
The audio snobs over at the Head-Fi forums have some good reviews along with less flattering impressions of this pair of ear pinchers. They might both be right, depending on your taste.
@trisk the number of 7 to 10 minute videos dedicated to just pulling these out of the box is hilarious. One of them is 16 minutes. FWIW - the negative link is first gen - the ones on sale here are second.
I've got a pair of these and they sound great to my ears. Decent price too, but as I said, I already have a pair (A super super walmart clearance special last year, even cheaper than what meh has them for.)
Step 1. Set alarm for 11:00pm CST Step 2. Load meh.com at 11:00pm CST Step 3. Buy some knives, speaker docks, water bottles or coffee makers. Step 4. Kick back and laugh at the suckers who paid full price for the design defect that made it land here.
dark-obese-whip - I purchase these a couple of weeks ago for my son for his birthday and there is a poor connection where the cord goes into the headphones themselves. It cuts in and out or plays out of just one side. What should I do?
@kfg31c What @ignorant said. The top comment in every product thread has all of the specs and details, including warranty information. For this product, it looks like Monster is carrying the warranty, for a full year. Contacting Monster is the first step.
I had a problem with my Monster purchase and Monster was unwilling to help me. After numerous e-mails they said that they would check them out, but I may be without them for up to a month. I finally told them the problem appeared to be in the cord. They wouldn't send me a comparatable replacement but they would send me a generic (crappy) one. They said that they don't guarentee 3rd party purchase purchases

Ear speaker docks!
@cinoclav Almost like 2-for-Tuesday, but in one package connected by a fancy head strap.
N-no.
I'm not a fan of on ear headphones. I prefer in ear or the big around ear ones for comfort.
@DaveInSoCal It was a valid effort.

@DaveInSoCal Hahaha, well at least you finally got across what you wanted to say.
They did the meh.
(They did the Monster™ meh)
The Monster™ meh.
It was a junkyard smash.
@thismyusername junkyard smeh.
But do they work with Windows NT?
@matapat Of course it works with Windows New Technology!
No purple? For that alone, meh.
@heartny Barney loves purple.
Mh
@nadroj I'd like to buy a vowel.
Yay. It's like Beats before there were Beats.
Moster sucks -- probably going to get sued, but I spelled their name wrong. :)
@spookiecat careful not to trigger that corporation as a person.
Wish these were half the price. Need some cheap headphones for my kids that won't short out or break after a week's worth of use.
@jsh139 try the monoprice 8323 headphones at $18. Sound pretty good and my daughter has had them for over a year without any breakage.
@jsh139 Get them dollar store headphones until they prove to you that they can have nice things without breaking them.
@mikedt Thanks I'll check them out!

@mikedt Just bought 2 pairs, thanks!!
I'm namoured and nthralled with the write up.
Mehnster
Wired headphones? Who still uses wired headphones anymore?
@ruouttaurmind people who like the music to sound the way it was recorded, instead of trampled by bluetooth?
@ruouttaurmind /me raises hand emphatically
no thanks. I've got several WONDERFUL pairs of 808s from you guys. all set on headphones.
$34 with an MSRP of $150?
Nconceivable!
@Mac454
You keep using that word ...
@saodell
I don't think that means what you think it means.
@saodell The "N" word?
@jzmacdaddy The sheriff is a N
(puts on headphones)
Meh...I could use another pair around the house so in for one
Ahhrg! Branding! shields eyes
How can you trust a company that does not even take the time to spellcheck the name of their product? If they don't care, why should I?
Hard to sell a cable for $100 if you list the actual specs. ;)
I learned a new word today: encomium. Thanks, @JasonToon!
I don't want any Monster on or in my earmonster on ear
@Zebra I hated that so much I watched it until the end. I need eye bleach and a time machine to undo the psychological damage that did to me.
Glad I held off of breakfast this morning.
@ACraigL I'll bet you remember that video every time you get a 'little tickle" in your ear.
So is that Race Red or Candy Apple Red?
@davide if the graphic is correct, it appears to be Candy apple.... but who can say if the graphic is correct? @mehcus anyone know?
@davide I double checked and it is definitely red.
I really needed some earbuds, @jaremelz you dropped the ball on this one.
@axleman1011 Sorry about dropping the balls. My bad
@axleman1011 I for one thank @jaremelz for not putting up another speaker dock on Friday.
@narfcake
@jaremelz Nuts to you.
@mike808 And to you!

@bruno187 $5 cheaper with no warranty and unknown amounts of ear sweat? I'm in for 2!!
In for crazy orange color. Need them to match my Google Play Music subscription.
I hear it's s good deal.. "Meh be" not
@AttyVette Seems like a pretty sound purchase.
FYI Monster designed beats. Ergo, these are beats, but don't cost $300. Which is good, because beats suck. At least for $300.
@givemeyoursoul Have you tried Deats?
@Pufferfishy Taking advantage of dyslexic people. Sad times!
Monster deal it's frightening
'varied price @ amazon' is that so they don't have to admit they start under $30 shipped? yes, you can spend more @ amazon if you choose.... too many headphones and speakers on here as it is... and then pricing above amazon - what gives meh?

Any color you want - as long as it's white or red!
Teens love them almost as much as they love sheet cake!
Unfortunately, I am not cool or hip enough to wear these headphones. I'll stay with my 808s, which sound fine to me.
Sorry, these aren't already personalized, and the 808's sound great. No deal.
I've got a pair of these and they sound great to my ears. Decent price too, but as I said, I already have a pair (A super super walmart clearance special last year, even cheaper than what meh has them for.)
eh, how does this work?
