@ooglek@stinks The wires are usually the first thing to go in my headphones so I really like ones that can be replaced. Plus you can get an extra long one if you want.
So, I have words to say about these, the sound quality Is freakin’ PHENOMENAL… from the Left side… the right side doesn’t do anything, DOA. some of the reviews on Amazon mention this but there aren’t any solutions there to fix it. I’d love to look at the user manual, but this arrived in a plain plastic bag inside a blank cardboard box, no manual or peripheral accessories. on an odd note the cord doesn’t appear to be user changeable (at odds with the description that Meh provided), and it has controls an LED, and a micro usb port on the right side; I tried charging it, to see if maybe it has to be charged for the right side to work? nope the led never lit up, and after leaving it in the charger for about an hour, it still doesn’t work. 1.5 out of 10, really pretty frustrated with this meh.
@hugh0spaz Mine showed up today as well. I was aware of the common review complaint that they were shipped with one ear busted, but I figured for 20 bucks it was worth a gamble. Both ears are functioning, and like yours the audio jack is hardwired in instead of removable like advertised. However, mine does not have any controls, dead LEDs, or USB jacks to nowhere. Just a bog standard pair of wired headphones. Now I am occupied by the mystery of your set. Were they a malfunctioning set of bluetooth headphones gutted and retrofitted to be wired only to recoup costs? Would that even be cost effective? I’m afraid these questions will keep me up at night.
Whatever the case, I’m sorry you wound up with a bum set and I hope not too many others here are in the same boat.
Have my 3 - but is 2 of model #190893, & 1 of model # 190892. Model #190893 has the charge port on the lower portion of the right ear & say they are Bluetooth - but all 3 sets are hardwired, & none came with any removable cable ( or instructions ). No idea as to whether or not to try charging the two Bluetooth or not, or for how long - but still happy with the 3 “units”.
Mine arrived today. They are hardwired “bluetooth” #190893.
TLDR: These sound really good, loud, are lightweight, and crisp at the high ends. I guess I’m lucky with both ears working.
As far as the “bluetooth” it says bluetooth on the headphone, there is a charging port, and buttons on the side all indicating it is bluetooth enabled. When I plug it in, nothing happens and the buttons never work even when hardlined in.
I think this is just fascinating to wonder why these good quality Frankenstein’s headphones are a thing. I’m willing to bet they are referbs of the bluetooth models that just didnt work.
The microphone sounds clear and appears to be pulling from the mic in the headphones since I do not see any in the hardline.
Overall I’m happy enough. Good quality and hardlined as advertised. Only gripe is that I wish the buttons worked 9/10.

@ooglek What battery?
@ooglek Battery? These are wired headphones.
@ooglek @sammydog01 Yeah he’s got the wrong ones in that review.
I think those are the Monster Tegrity HD 100s.

@sammydog01 @stinks The CNET review said “Monster claims the battery will last 24 hours” and “Bluetooth” – I was googling quickly.
These are indeed wired, just don’t understand why a detachable wire is useful. Unless you break the wire.

Why is there no picture of the wire?
@somf69 The wire is apparently detachable
Bluetooth or no?
@tonybits No, wired

@scfd0766 /giphy very curious!

Mine are hardwired Model #190962, with the left channel DOA. Will be contacting customer service. Pity, too, because the right channel sounds great.
