My IRK just got delivered, and it’s… GOOD! I’m so confused!

1 micro-usb cable (I actually need this, now I can wear my big headphones while they are charging)

And the best item- a Hamilton Beach Sous Vide & 6 qt. Slow Cooker! And it’s all there and unused! WooHoo!

@lisaviolet The generic replacements for this are $12 so not much of a bargain either. I have a bunch of those Swiffer ones- keep meaning to try to bypass the chip and wash and reuse filters.
@sammydog01 I actually purchased that filter years ago, its really nice. Surprisingly quiet - all filters are listed as whisper and then sound like a vacuum this on medium I barely hear. Filters last surprisingly long, most dust gets caught on the pre-filter, once in awhile I vacuum off the dust bunnies from that and the actual HEPA filter was fine for a long time.

Whenever my brother come to joanns with me, he’ll go through the store and set all all the timers to go of at once. Usually right about the time I’m checking out. It’s pretty funny to see everybody running around wondering where all the beeping is coming from. I bet your work would love it if you did something like that numerous days In a row.
Is there any rhyme or reason to who gets what? Do folks who buy 1st irk of meh-athon get best loot? Or is it pretty much a crap shoot, emphasis on the crap.

@ACraigL@Star2236 be careful with the latching system on the Foodsaver. I broke the cheap plastic latch on the first one I bought here. Got a warranty replacement of the same model. That broke too. That warranty replacement is a newer model and hopefully has a better latch design.
Then of course while waiting for the warranty replacement I win a totally different model w/accessories, in an IRK.

@tinamarie1974 I ran the cleaning cycle and it seems to work fine. There was a used pod in it (gross) but I’ll just have to scrub it. I have nespresso pods but they are the originals and not the vertuo, so I’ll have to get some.

Those fitnfressh bags are nice, I take them to the farmers market, vacation ( vacation hasn’t been in a long time), craft shows. It’s just nice to have have a bag I can store in my glove box and take with me if I need.
Also I’m one person who needs to invest into reusable straws. As Michigan is phasing out straws, I like to have them in my drinks.
Mailman just delivered my IRK and it was as meh as advertised. The only thing of interest was the pop socket, which was attached before I even thought to take a picture. Wonder if I can attach a foam pad to the massager and use it to wax the car?

It was shipped in its original box and Nathan the mailman said, “That thing can’t be that heavy. You don’t suppose they slipped some pasta in there, do you?”
Nathan is very edgy when comes to pasta. He’s already delivered 180 pounds with another 140 coming this week. I didn’t have the heart to tell him that I ordered more today.

Is it random how much you get? You can pasta peoples houses instead of egging them
@willdavi Yeah, it’s random. For 20 bucks, you can get anywhere from 10 to 100 pounds of pasta, although a couple of people have gotten over 100 and I think someone got 200 pounds or pretty darn close to it. It’s kind of like a pasta lottery – some lose, and some come out big winners.
Some people have sent A LOT of pasta to the people they know and love(?).

My mom broke the wooden spoon over my brothers butt. The other brother got soap until the day she asked if he wanted liquid or bar and he choose liquid only to blow bubbles back in her face. He really got a beating after that. Man those were the days when you could beat your kids lol.

Got a black bag, some cheap Chinese knockoff wireless buds, a window breaking pen, a tfal white ceramic pot with lid, a tfal white ceramic frying pan without lid.
Robot vacuum, 30 second toothbrush that looks like a whitener, irk bag, 24 piece set of makeup brushes, and a brown purse with a huge logo on it that I probably won’t use. $5 well spent, I’d say.
Mine is 2 lbs. I expect a bunch of TrackR thingies, of which I already have way too many. I did receive a surprise second shipment of linguine from pastadrop today though. That makes 40lbs. Still no sign of my penne. I guess I’ll buy a bunch of crap tonight just because I’m basically addicted to opening packages. I also got my case of wine today. It was a big day for shipments from this fine company.
I will post a full recount later, but boy… I lose things all the time, and somehow [pictures @Dave personally packing my IRK after creepily researching me] they knew to give me SIXTEEN off-brand tile trackers.

@jebasiz I’d suggest ditch the kids. If you ditch them with the machine they may not even notice they have been ditched. Then move to an undisclosed location. Your mental health will thank you through those years one might be thinking that surely a jury would call it justifiable homicide. Or that handcuffing a teen to their bed and nailing the window and door shut on a Friday or Saturday night is actually making sure they stay safe and not child abuse.
I am sure if someone from DHS calls a jury of your actual true peers will find you are innocent of all charges and whatever you did was justifiable.

Mine is out there in the ether somewhere. According to tracking it’s come within a couple hundred miles from here a couple of times, but then it gets off on tangent and heads back to Georgia again. Been traveling since June 1st.
I got mine today, and ordered a new IRK in today’s Meh-rathon. I least I think I got my IRK. It’s a box of stuff I didn’t order, but it didn’t have the IRK BAG!! Huge regret. It’s sort of themed. Mine is still aging - like fine wine? - in Greenwood, IN for the last week. Another order placed afterwards successfully navigated the PB Greenwood stop, so I’m hopeful that eventually this will be released too.
@jchizmar@rm9116 Mine might be there with yours. Says June 6 delivered to PB facility. Then yesterday it said June 17th arrived in PB facility. Then today it said June 18th arrived in PB facility (the 17th statement vanished). There might be more bait and switch claims but I haven’t checked every day. So not knowing the difference between delivered and arrived - not sure where it is. It also has said delivery (to me) June 15 and June 16 and then those two tracking pieces vanished. Probably every one and every thing in PB is drunk, high or both. That would explain it. Maybe.

Got that message one time when a package I sent to Maryland was out for delivery in Ohio and luckily some sharp postal employee noted that was not correct and it got rerouted. So a guaranteed two day delivery ended up being 10 days.

@liz@sammydog01 Yup. I cut holes into premise canned biscuit dough, dip them into sugar/cinnamon mix and then it only takes about 4 minutes for air fried deliciousness.
@kuoh@liz@sammydog01 I use whatever brand, it doesn’t matter. Even generic works fine. 360 or so, but I’ve used 400. I’ve tried it various ways, from making the biscuits and then rolling them in butter and cinnamon sugar, etc, but I actually like it when the sugar is a bit more glaze-like.
@juststephen@sammydog01 made some donuts/pastries this weekend that were awesome! 350/6mins for donuts made of biscuits (flipping halfway) and rolled in cinnamon sugar was PERFECT. Thanks for the protip!
Arrived appropriately (by PB standards) smashed, open and without enough tape to even have a chance of arriving unopened.
The tape problem started at the Meh end of things though as there was only about 6" on an 18" long box and it was mostly all on one side of the bottom flap (none went over an edge either) and half not on both flaps so only had about 3" actually sort of holding the bottom shut. PB finished it off by smashing one corner and side accordion style which led the missing tape part of the bottom to gap open by about 8" deep on one side. Had a ‘not our fault this is trashed blame someone else’ post office tag. Who knows what fell out as it only weighed 1/2 of what the tracking said it would weigh:

Of course once a number of years ago I received a completely empty box with no tape holding it shut so this is at least a little better than that. Sigh.
@Star2236 It happens. There is at least one other person whose irk box was basically open due to failure to use enough tape too. Meh doesn’t do anything unless the box is completely empty and mine was not. Several years ago I got a completely empty box (again USPS sticker of not our fault) with a fuko for the same reason. Meh sent me some stickers, bag and one other meh branded item since the box was empty. And another time a box crushed badly enough the USPS put a damaged we didn’t do it sticker on it. Amazingly when I opened the box everything inside was OK. For as many boxes as go out I am surprised that more of us don’t have that problem.
I got the Pillow, a light up fidget spinner that does not light up, a long lightning charger, and the gadget that holds your phone around your neck that my wife actually said she could use…not a bad haul.
@isz@sammydog01 Others are telling them that too. And from what I have read on here they are sending them out when they accidentally get left out. I think it was the early announcement of this included the bag as the only thing guaranteed.

I live in an apartment and they didn’t change the locks when I moved in. I keep coming home and the toilet seat was up, I’m a girl, live by myself so the seats always down. At first I just dismissed it bc I thought maybe my boyfriend (who has a key stopped by or something) but when it kept happening it really freaked me out especially when I would just run out to the store real quick. They changed the locks and now keep the key in the managers office so they have to ask me every time someone comes in. It’s stopped but it was really creepy. They swear it wasn’t maintenance either.
Finally got my IRK today! I didn’t get a bag, but something even better… a meh pop socket!
I also got a face cream and cute Bobby pins (I’m a lady, so these will be used), that kids’ 50 audiobook pack that I already bought a long time ago, fake AirPods, a tv antenna, a bottle opener you screw on to the wall or something and holiday flavor jelly belly! Overall, I’m pretty happy.
Mine’s either “delivered to Pitney Bowes facility” or “Picked up and processed by agent” (who knows which of these is true in this reality). Still hoping this package exists and will eventually get here… It is so exciting to manage to get an order in for one of these damn things so if it’s lost I’m going to be very upset.

@Kidsandliz I have been in contact for a few weeks. They just now said they are marking it as “lost” and refunding my $5. It apparently hasn’t shipped anywhere so it can’t be lost. I don’t like losing an IRK this way. I would rather they said it must have been misplaced but they are sending me one now. I’m sure they have some junk in the warehouse corners and a bag.

So out of nowhere my Mid-May IRK arrived today. Seriously, it went from processing yesterday to shipped and delivered today. I had completely given up and Meh had even refunded my money a week or so ago. But man, was it worth the wait! Some wall stickers, a pair of XL running socks that may be too big, some resistance bands, bluetooth earbuds, and the Rock Solid RS2200 whole body vibration machine. That thing alone goes for almost $200 on Morning Save. It is missing the remote and I haven’t plugged it in yet but I’m sure it works, right?!
So my Mid-May IRK just arrived today, after quite a trip that started on June 1st. It seems it traveled from TX, to IN, to IL, to back to IN, to CO, back to IN, to AZ, and finally back to CO. @lisaviolet The generic replacements for this are $12 so not much of a bargain either. I have a bunch of those Swiffer ones- keep meaning to try to bypass the chip and wash and reuse filters.
@sammydog01 I actually purchased that filter years ago, its really nice. Surprisingly quiet - all filters are listed as whisper and then sound like a vacuum this on medium I barely hear. Filters last surprisingly long, most dust gets caught on the pre-filter, once in awhile I vacuum off the dust bunnies from that and the actual HEPA filter was fine for a long time.

@ACraigL I got a foodsaver and was thrilled. It’s my first one though. After one It’s pretty useless.
@ACraigL @Star2236 be careful with the latching system on the Foodsaver. I broke the cheap plastic latch on the first one I bought here. Got a warranty replacement of the same model. That broke too. That warranty replacement is a newer model and hopefully has a better latch design.
Then of course while waiting for the warranty replacement I win a totally different model w/accessories, in an IRK.
So I have 2 broken ones and 2 new working ones.

Those fitnfressh bags are nice, I take them to the farmers market, vacation ( vacation hasn’t been in a long time), craft shows. It’s just nice to have have a bag I can store in my glove box and take with me if I need.
Also I’m one person who needs to invest into reusable straws. As Michigan is phasing out straws, I like to have them in my drinks.
Mailman just delivered my IRK and it was as meh as advertised. The only thing of interest was the pop socket, which was attached before I even thought to take a picture. Wonder if I can attach a foam pad to the massager and use it to wax the car?

My twelve pound, 12 oz IRK came today.
I know, I know, it kinda looks like something out of Battlestar Galactica, maybe some kind of Cylon battle gear, but it’s actually a very nice and very heavy foot massager. It was shipped in its original box and Nathan the mailman said, “That thing can’t be that heavy. You don’t suppose they slipped some pasta in there, do you?”
Nathan is very edgy when comes to pasta. He’s already delivered 180 pounds with another 140 coming this week. I didn’t have the heart to tell him that I ordered more today.
Nope, there was no pasta – it’s really that heavy. Also in the box were some cosmetic brushes, an Irk phone stand, and a tactical pen. And, the beee - u - ti - ful and always charming black IRK bag.

Is it random how much you get? You can pasta peoples houses instead of egging them
@willdavi Yeah, it’s random. For 20 bucks, you can get anywhere from 10 to 100 pounds of pasta, although a couple of people have gotten over 100 and I think someone got 200 pounds or pretty darn close to it. It’s kind of like a pasta lottery – some lose, and some come out big winners.
Some people have sent A LOT of pasta to the people they know and love(?).

Mine is 2 lbs. I expect a bunch of TrackR thingies, of which I already have way too many. I did receive a surprise second shipment of linguine from pastadrop today though. That makes 40lbs. Your mental health will thank you through those years one might be thinking that surely a jury would call it justifiable homicide. Or that handcuffing a teen to their bed and nailing the window and door shut on a Friday or Saturday night is actually making sure they stay safe and not child abuse.
I am sure if someone from DHS calls a jury of your actual true peers will find you are innocent of all charges and whatever you did was justifiable.

Mine is out there in the ether somewhere. According to tracking it’s come within a couple hundred miles from here a couple of times, but then it gets off on tangent and heads back to Georgia again. Been traveling since June 1st.
I got mine today, and ordered a new IRK in today’s Meh-rathon. I least I think I got my IRK. It’s a box of stuff I didn’t order, but it didn’t have the IRK BAG!! Huge regret. It’s sort of themed. Then today it said June 18th arrived in PB facility (the 17th statement vanished). There might be more bait and switch claims but I haven’t checked every day. So not knowing the difference between delivered and arrived - not sure where it is. It also has said delivery (to me) June 15 and June 16 and then those two tracking pieces vanished. Probably every one and every thing in PB is drunk, high or both. That would explain it. Maybe.

Got that message one time when a package I sent to Maryland was out for delivery in Ohio and luckily some sharp postal employee noted that was not correct and it got rerouted. So a guaranteed two day delivery ended up being 10 days.

Two spare sets of batteries, one leaking. Bravo Meh! Absolutely perfect! Straight into the garbage. Couldn’t get granddaughter to take it.

@liz @sammydog01 Yup. I cut holes into premise canned biscuit dough, dip them into sugar/cinnamon mix and then it only takes about 4 minutes for air fried deliciousness.
@juststephen @liz I did mine plain and then brushed them with melted butter and rolled them in cinnamon sugar. I’m trying your way next time.

@kuoh @liz @sammydog01 I use whatever brand, it doesn’t matter. Even generic works fine. 360 or so, but I’ve used 400. I’ve tried it various ways, from making the biscuits and then rolling them in butter and cinnamon sugar, etc, but I actually like it when the sugar is a bit more glaze-like.
@juststephen @sammydog01 made some donuts/pastries this weekend that were awesome! 350/6mins for donuts made of biscuits (flipping halfway) and rolled in cinnamon sugar was PERFECT. Thanks for the protip!

Arrived appropriately (by PB standards) smashed, open and without enough tape to even have a chance of arriving unopened.
The tape problem started at the Meh end of things though as there was only about 6" on an 18" long box and it was mostly all on one side of the bottom flap (none went over an edge either) and half not on both flaps so only had about 3" actually sort of holding the bottom shut. PB finished it off by smashing one corner and side accordion style which led the missing tape part of the bottom to gap open by about 8" deep on one side. Had a ‘not our fault this is trashed blame someone else’ post office tag. Who knows what fell out as it only weighed 1/2 of what the tracking said it would weigh:

Wondering what, or collection of what, fell out that weighted nearly 5 pounds.
Of course once a number of years ago I received a completely empty box with no tape holding it shut so this is at least a little better than that. Sigh.

@Star2236 It happens. There is at least one other person whose irk box was basically open due to failure to use enough tape too. Meh doesn’t do anything unless the box is completely empty and mine was not. Several years ago I got a completely empty box (again USPS sticker of not our fault) with a fuko for the same reason. Meh sent me some stickers, bag and one other meh branded item since the box was empty. And another time a box crushed badly enough the USPS put a damaged we didn’t do it sticker on it. Amazingly when I opened the box everything inside was OK. For as many boxes as go out I am surprised that more of us don’t have that problem.

@isz @sammydog01 Others are telling them that too. And from what I have read on here they are sending them out when they accidentally get left out. I think it was the early announcement of this included the bag as the only thing guaranteed.
Mine turned out to be kinda interesting. I received:

Overall kinda interesting and a nice haul, but I’m not sure I will use anything but the bag.
The watch can’t be seen be my phone, but another phone can.
The smart outlets need my wifi password and I’m a bit Leary of giving it.
I’ve never used a massager like that, and am not sure I want to.
I will use the IRK bag, and the wife does use socks.
Like I said, neat haul, but useless for me.
@D_a_v_e I would assume the outlets need your Wi-Fi password so that they won’t be on an open network. You wouldn’t want anyone turning on and off your lights just to fuck with you would you?

I live in an apartment and they didn’t change the locks when I moved in. I keep coming home and the toilet seat was up, I’m a girl, live by myself so the seats always down. At first I just dismissed it bc I thought maybe my boyfriend (who has a key stopped by or something) but when it kept happening it really freaked me out especially when I would just run out to the store real quick. They changed the locks and now keep the key in the managers office so they have to ask me every time someone comes in. It’s stopped but it was really creepy. They swear it wasn’t maintenance either.

Finally got my IRK today! I didn’t get a bag, but something even better… a meh pop socket!
I also got a face cream and cute Bobby pins (I’m a lady, so these will be used), that kids’ 50 audiobook pack that I already bought a long time ago, fake AirPods, a tv antenna, a bottle opener you screw on to the wall or something and holiday flavor jelly belly! Overall, I’m pretty happy.

Mine’s either “delivered to Pitney Bowes facility” or “Picked up and processed by agent” (who knows which of these is true in this reality). Still hoping this package exists and will eventually get here… It is so exciting to manage to get an order in for one of these damn things so if it’s lost I’m going to be very upset.

Got this awhile back but I just remembered that I never posted it.
-1x fake Air Pods. The power button is missing from one of them, but putting it in the charger worked to turn it on/off.

My IRK box was FULL of MONEY !!! Twenty lbs of Benjamins packed around a 9mm stuffed inside an IRK bag along with a thank you note from a guy named Carlos inside a box of Cuban cigars and a 64 oz can of coke.

@Lister Since so many have arrived or are caught in the PB’s alternative reality for 4 or 5 weeks and counting, you might want to contact customer support to see what is going on.
@Kidsandliz I have been in contact for a few weeks. They just now said they are marking it as “lost” and refunding my $5. It apparently hasn’t shipped anywhere so it can’t be lost. I don’t like losing an IRK this way. I would rather they said it must have been misplaced but they are sending me one now. I’m sure they have some junk in the warehouse corners and a bag.

So out of nowhere my Mid-May IRK arrived today. Seriously, it went from processing yesterday to shipped and delivered today. I had completely given up and Meh had even refunded my money a week or so ago. But man, was it worth the wait! Some wall stickers, a pair of XL running socks that may be too big, some resistance bands, bluetooth earbuds, and the Rock Solid RS2200 whole body vibration machine. That thing alone goes for almost $200 on Morning Save. It is missing the remote and I haven’t plugged it in yet but I’m sure it works, right?!

So my Mid-May IRK just arrived today, after quite a trip that started on June 1st. It seems it traveled from TX, to IN, to IL, to back to IN, to CO, back to IN, to AZ, and finally back to CO. The box did have 2 address labels on it, mine in CO and an old one for AZ, but it finally made it to its final destination. Contents as follows:
