@MehnofLaMehncha Short-hair cats are lower maintenance for sure. Best is to find a cat that chooses you. But a well-adjusted and properly cared for cat should not be going anywhere except the litter box.
@Lazarpandar no, I did not. It was very small, left no strain, and doesn't smell. It's in a zone of bad enough to not use but not quite bad enough to expend effort to remedy when I could just pull the old one out of the closet.
@MehnofLaMehncha this cat came from the wild outdoors so unfortunately I can't answer that. However, in her defense this was very uncharacteristic. It's remained a one-off occasion.
@gabespana12 I too have purchased a microfiber comforter today and hope that in the near future there will be no worry of butt prunes left on it, though I could see my sister's cat doing so out of pure spite.
Wanted to comment to point out that it's possible the "dry poop" was actually an old piece that your cat drug in either from outside or from its own litter box. Sufficed to say, there is a chance it may not have even originated from your own pet.
@mehdaf I sweat so much under these, but as soon as I take it off, I cool off put it back on, then it starts all over again. I have a king size bed and when boyfriend sleeps over, we each get our own king size meh comforter. It works best this way. No fighting wrestling or temperature wars....
@Stallion Got one of these and I think it's medium warmth in Florida or someplace where 50 degrees is cold. Not nearly warm enough for winter in Michigan.
Got this before. Liked it enough that I got it again. Medium-warm, so people in especially hot climates might pass, and especially cold climates will either pass or layer. Good comforter for the price.
We use the one I bought during a previous sale as a mid-winter, need a 6th blanket dealio. It is still in perfect shape and is very warm. I usually get ONLY cotton bedding. Sheets, comforters, etc., but since I put it in the middle of everything else, I don't mind. I didn't want to pay for a cotton King-sized that we only use for a few months. Using it this way, I am very happy with my purchase.
@TheDagda Heh. I just gave one to my stepson earlier this evening. Medical bills have forced me to pare down my gift list, so I won't be giving anybody these like I had hoped. :-/
@TheDagda Um... did you bribe Irk to send me one, or is someone at Meh being extra nice? I got a confirmation email for a king size red comforter. @hollboll what's goin' on here? I'm all confuzzled. Grateful, but definitely confuzzled.
@Pony hey now that is odd. Perhaps you should consult a obligated hypnotic vegetable to solve the mystery? Be careful though ...don't look directly into its eyes...
I still have one of these unopened, and one on my bed currently. LOVE them! They're not too warm but I'm never cold with them. Just might buy another one, just incase...
Does that mean: (1) Most Meh warranties cover buyer's remorse, changed my mind on the color, etc...? or... (2) There is no "warranty" per se - you only get to return it if it initially arrives with cuts, snags, and/or cat vomit on it?
@RedOak cuts will be assumed caused by a box cutter on opening, cat vomit is clearly customer abuse. The only thing it covers is wrong color, or tainted polyfill...
@RedOak Warranty: Defective Units Only means what @mehdaf basically said. If it arrives damaged or stained or something, we'll replace it for you. Now if you cut it yourself while opening the package or decide you don't like the color, that's a different story. :)
To answer your other question, no meh doesn't cover buyer's remorse returns. If something arrives broken or not working reach out to the support team and we'll find the solution.
@jqubed I think of mine as light. That's one of the things I like about it because I was tired of heavy comforters. If you prefer heavy then this is not the one for you.
Got one of these last time and it's getting cooold up in this beezy so in for another. It's nice, probably a good deal? I don't shop around much I just assume the stuff I buy on meh is a good deal.
Bought both a twin and a king from mediocre last year.. One for me, one gifted. These are very comfy comforters and the price is well worth it.. Another mehgnificient deal.
On the first picture, it says snow and snowman not included. Does that mean the dude with the snow and snowman on him, comes with the red comforter? Not sure even then I'd pick one up. Meh.
Please help me out of Mehbieville on this item. Would someone please tell me if the material is kind of soft & fuzzy like a microfiber pseudo-suede material? Or does it have more of a flat/slick feel to it? And is the underside of the comforter made of the same material?
My SO hates our down comforter because it's always shifting in its duvet cover (and the down shifts, too) but I LOVE the micro-suede feel of the duvet cover. Thanks!
@mehbie It is a soft material, but it's NOT fuzzy like microfiber. It's more of a "flat/slick" feel but I wouldn't call it "slick" though as that implies slippery.
@Bogie Thanks for the suggestion! I know it's hard to pass up with all of the good comments. However, we take care of my husband's mom who has Alzheimer's but before she became ill, she had a THING for blankets. comforters, throws and pillows. (There is literally a room filled with them!) So the suggestion of ever buying another comforter or throw is always met with an "are you kidding me" look and then some! LOL!
Having received a record breaking 10.7" of snow on Saturday and being without power for almost 6 hours, I felt that today would be a good day to buy an extra comforter. Thanks, meh!
I'd have purchased one in King size if you still had the silver/grey color available. I'd have purchased three in King size if you still had that color AND the old price. I bought three or four in assorted colors the last time. The king size barely fits in my washing machine (oversize tub, front loading), which I don't like, but they're nicely warm and the family really likes them. Even the cats LOVE to settle down on them since the filling has so much loft.
Are these coming direct from the manufacturer? A Blue Ridge Home Fashions Inc? I got a UPS my choice mail today and this is the only thing I can think of that would fit, even though it hasn't shipped yet according to the status page.
@Knightp It looks like they are. I looked into the details of the UPS shipment and it shows my order # from meh listed. Coming from Irwindale, CA and handled by UPS SurePost.

I take little comfort in microfiber comforters.
@MehnofLaMehncha that's a comforting thought
Cat crapped on the one I got last time and I haven't washed it yet. I kinda want to just buy another and forget about the first...
@gabespana12 So what does one do with a crapped on blanket, storage wise?
@stoopkid good question, it was a dry crap so I folded it up and put it by the wall.
@gabespana12
@gabespana12 It was a dry crap and you didn't take the 5 minutes it'd take to clean it?
@gabespana12 Desperately trying not to wake the house as I'm snorting Cherry Coke out my nose.
@gabespana12
I'm thinking about getting a cat. Does one request dry crapping vs wet crapping at the cat store?
@MehnofLaMehncha Short-hair cats are lower maintenance for sure. Best is to find a cat that chooses you. But a well-adjusted and properly cared for cat should not be going anywhere except the litter box.
@pitamuffin that was pretty much my reaction when I saw the very small... 'gift' upon my arrival home.
@gabespana12 I did not know such a zone existed
@gabespana12 I too have purchased a microfiber comforter today and hope that in the near future there will be no worry of butt prunes left on it, though I could see my sister's cat doing so out of pure spite.
Wanted to comment to point out that it's possible the "dry poop" was actually an old piece that your cat drug in either from outside or from its own litter box. Sufficed to say, there is a chance it may not have even originated from your own pet.
I love mine. Have brick and the grey/silver that was previously available.
I tried meh, I showed it to my girlfriend. The blue one that is her favorite color. But when I said polyester fill she literally said meh. Sorry meh.
Anyone paying more than $22 is being fleeced
@MehnofLaMehncha some people don't give a sheet.
@trom120 That sounds like a bit of a blanket statement.
@MehnofLaMehncha But can we take comfort in the knowledge that Meh has that covered?
@MehnofLaMehncha
Just piling on here.
@MehnofLaMehncha Now I feel sheepish
@MehnofLaMehncha @mehbee Oh, ewe guys....
Warm, kinda sweaty like polyester socks actually. Ask your significant other before buying, I'm just sayin', lessons learned...
@mehdaf I sweat so much under these, but as soon as I take it off, I cool off put it back on, then it starts all over again. I have a king size bed and when boyfriend sleeps over, we each get our own king size meh comforter. It works best this way. No fighting wrestling or temperature wars....
@mehdaf Agreed. I used mine for a few months and went back to the old 100% cotton comforter.
Good timing it's cold as hell outside!......or should I say hot as hell under that cover:)
@Stallion Got one of these and I think it's medium warmth in Florida or someplace where 50 degrees is cold. Not nearly warm enough for winter in Michigan.
I love these comforters, but I have 4 oops, I mean 3 of them already. (I gave one to my stepson just a couple of hours ago- spooky!)
I have two of the navy ones. I sleep with one of them every night. I like to switch back and forth. I'm not ashamed.
Got this before. Liked it enough that I got it again. Medium-warm, so people in especially hot climates might pass, and especially cold climates will either pass or layer. Good comforter for the price.
Make it mega fibers and I'm in for 2
I can't wrap my head around "brick" and "comforter" in the same description of a product......meh.
@jsimsace Why, laborers can't be sensitive? Remember Jesus was a carpenter and a healer.
Mehbe my grandson will like this but he Meh not!

@Pony Looks like you got your wish! Hopefully you have been saving your pennies!
"Pony said Thu, Aug 27th 2015 at 12:43am eastern
I would love to see these come up again closer to the holidays- they would make nice gifts."
(I'm in for one huge-auburn-willow)
@TheDagda Heh. I just gave one to my stepson earlier this evening. Medical bills have forced me to pare down my gift list, so I won't be giving anybody these like I had hoped. :-/
@Pony Ugh! Bummer...Maybe, if you raise a glass of adult beverage in the general direction of Meh, Irk will notice...and send out another?
@TheDagda My idea of an adult beverage is Kool Aid made with Splenda instead of sugar. ;) No worries anyway. :)
@Pony I suspect that Irk likes sugar in his Kool-aid....I like sugar in my Mt. Dew.
Not that I (or anyone) could compare to Irk...
@TheDagda Well, that was awfully sweet of you- thank you so much! Geez! ~warm fuzzies~ Now I just have to decide who gets it. :)
@Pony Warm microfiber fuzzies back to you!
KCCO ;-)
Tonight's deal microfiber comforters what a blanket statement
Got one of these last time, and it's pretty good. I definitely shouldn't pick up another one.
I still have one of these unopened, and one on my bed currently. LOVE them! They're not too warm but I'm never cold with them. Just might buy another one, just incase...

How are these weight-wise? I like the heavy feel of comforters as much as I like the warmth.
@jqubed Average weight, definitely not on the weighty end.
@jqubed I think of mine as light. That's one of the things I like about it because I was tired of heavy comforters. If you prefer heavy then this is not the one for you.

EDIT: Hey! It was five bucks cheaper last time!
@Lazarpandar Supply and demand!
@jqubed .. Four bucks less for the twin ($18.00).. $20.00 for the king.

@Mehrocco_Mole I always hated that. BRING ON THE SNOW TO FLORIDA
@wafflestompr Hee hee hee...
I grew up in Northern Michigan so I get to get away with all of this.
@Mehrocco_Mole We must be neighbors of sorts up here in the craptastic panhandle. FL weather blows.
@jbrookebarrow P'cola
@Mehrocco_Mole Crestview. Bout damn time we got some cold temps, but I'm sure it'll be back up in the 80s next week. Stupid Florida.
@Mehrocco_Mole It was 48 in Orlando this morning. And I wore a leather jacket and gloves. #noshame
@chelseafase And I'm going to Lakeland for Thanksgiving. Dress warm, right?
@Mehrocco_Mole it's chilly in Tampa. I'm typing while laying on my heated massage table
@Mehrocco_Mole Germany....it's just frigging cold everywhere. No wonder Germans don't smile much.
@chelseafase I was the 46
I love the new and/or different touches that are added to @harrison every time this product comes up for sale.
@Thumperchick You seem to know your way around here. Why not post the @harrison series so we can all enjoy the transition.
Bought both a twin and a king from mediocre last year.. One for me, one gifted. These are very comfy comforters and the price is well worth it.. Another mehgnificient deal.
I have bought 4.. The Price went up. Meh
So is this going to turn "Netflix and chill" into "Netflix and swelter"?
On the first picture, it says snow and snowman not included. Does that mean the dude with the snow and snowman on him, comes with the red comforter? Not sure even then I'd pick one up. Meh.
@clarinetbob that hurts, bob.
I've purchased two of these. I tried to get my wife to buy 1 more, but she said no. These things are amazing for their price. Super warm and comfy.
Please help me out of Mehbieville on this item. Would someone please tell me if the material is kind of soft & fuzzy like a microfiber pseudo-suede material? Or does it have more of a flat/slick feel to it? And is the underside of the comforter made of the same material?

@Bogie Thanks for the info, Bogie! Much appreciated!
@mehbie Honestly, for the cost you can't go wrong. For the cost you can't go wrong. Worst case scenario you have a great couch blanket!
I debated buying a third just in case one of the two other ones fail but decided that's just silly.
@Bogie Thanks for the suggestion! I know it's hard to pass up with all of the good comments. However, we take care of my husband's mom who has Alzheimer's but before she became ill, she had a THING for blankets. comforters, throws and pillows. (There is literally a room filled with them!) Having received a record breaking 10.7" of snow on Saturday and being without power for almost 6 hours, I felt that today would be a good day to buy an extra comforter. Thanks, meh!
@billchase2 Thats adorable. Here in Iowa we got 13"...just a normal day. The school i teach at didnt even let out early.
@studerc We got about 4" about 23 years ago that actually stayed for 3 days! Oh, and hurricanes, we got hurricanes.
So is this basically a giant 30 degree sleeping bag?
I'd have purchased one in King size if you still had the silver/grey color available.
I'd have purchased three in King size if you still had that color AND the old price.
I bought three or four in assorted colors the last time. The king size barely fits in my washing machine (oversize tub, front loading), which I don't like, but they're nicely warm and the family really likes them. Even the cats LOVE to settle down on them since the filling has so much loft.
@mbimeh My dogs love mine!
