@narfcake
you need to watch the original Polyester movie if you can find it. It was originally a scratch & sniff movie in the theaters. Its a classic that makes most other B movies look good. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082926/
We have this, actually 2. One for our actual bedroom, one for the study/guest bed futon. It’s too hot for me, but my boyfriend loves it when he gets cold.
I’m so glad there’s no sage this time because I’ve already bought three of those from you and I’d be tempted to buy more if they’re the same as the last set I bought.
Tip for potential suckers: Even if you have a full/queen size bed, buy the king size. That’s what I did last time and I never use the other two anymore (which is why I’d be tempted to buy another). Trust me on this. You won’t regret it.
@harveydanger I don’t know if this is the same set as what was sold before, but I have been really happy with all the ones I’ve purchased so far. Sharing the bed with a husband and two large dogs means there’s much blanket hogging and the only way the queens worked for us is if I put it on the bed sideways so there was enough side overhang. Then the length was a little short, but it covered enough. Buying the king size solved all those problems.
@harveydanger good gravy, you all are So Old! oh wait a second…Yeah, I did buy one of these! Someone said “soft” and I had to go check my comforter and orders. Yep, my winter comforter IS one of these, in something they used to call ‘gardenia’, (mine’s white). Yeah, it IS nice and soft. Now gotta decide if I wanna buy another.
I’m a guy and am not sure what other color to get. Lol, hoping they pause this before I buy another. {rationalization #1, it’s gonna cost me $7 anyway to wash this sucker.}
@PurplePawprints These must be a different size, the queen is square 88"x88". King comforters give you a better chance at staying warm if you share your bed with a blanket thief or pets.
@callow Yeah, these are probably not the same as the original ones sold. The king size set I bought at a later offering was also a different brand, and actually nicer than the first ones. I didn’t look at the measurements for these, but if the queen is square, it’s probably even more reason to size up since the option of turning it for a better fit isn’t there.
bought this last winter. It’s soft, has held up nicely, not stained even with 2 dogs jumping on the bed, and is very warm without being too warm. Definitely recommend.
I bought the chocolate one on a past sale. Love it! I no longer use any other comforter. So when it needs washed I have to get it done in one day. Tempted to get another as a spare.
@JT954 There are these open weave sheets that I’ve gotten in the Philippines, don’t keep warm but have that nice heavy feeling (even in Florida, I had trouble falling asleep without a blanket, something about needing to feel cozy under the weight.)
@speediedelivery Nah, we’re all going to freeze to death. Even those in sunny southern California. It’s going to get cold around here the next few days, expecting a little snow tomorrow night. Friday drive to work should be a treat. I’m headed up to Vermont for a few days where it’s supposed to get down to -8 on Sunday. I predict two ski runs at a time before having to warm up again.
As far as stuff to binge watch, @jasontoon, The Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman. I don’t know if it’s still available but if it is, you’ll thank me.
Although I doubt I need this comforter, I am considering basically seriously cheap bonus points from my wife. She would pile on five of these freakin’ things together and then turn the heat up to 93 degrees…and then put on socks and still complain that she is cold.
@pcfriendly Nope. I’m the opposite model who keeps the thermostat set on 67 in the winter, run around the house in tanks and shorts, and still complain about being hot while my family huddles under all the comforters I’ve bought.
@PurplePawprints Now that’s the kind of woman I like. I keep getting attracted to the ones that are cold in 80° F while I am sitting next to them sweating.
This is the first time in eighteen months that I’ve bought something on Meh; and I got two! Winter has been mild, so far, but I expect hell to freeze over and need to be prepared.
If this is similar to the one that was sold in November of '15, I’d say it’s more on the “light” side than “medium.” It’s great for summer nights, but as soon as things get chilly, I have to supplement with a fleece blanket. I actually have two on there with flannel sheets right now, which is the first time I’ve ever had to do that (thermostat at 65F overnight). I’m usually the one who removes extra blankets when traveling.
This is disgusting!!! Do you know how many polyesters have to die to make this thing?? If you ever cared about those little creatures…well, it just makes me wanna cry.
Mine has been quite useful so far. I got a King sized comforter for my Queen sized bed, which has given me plenty room. I’m a husky boy, so it’s been just the right amount of warmth for me during this odd Indiana winter. A bit humid, but it’s polyester, what did I expect?
I bought this in King sized, tan from you a couple of months, knowing that I’d be getting a bed to put it on. Well today, in anticipation of my brother and his girlfriend coming to visit on the 3rd, I finally took it out of its box and made up the bed for the first time. I find it has about a 2" gash on one side, with no apparent damage to the box it came in. What can we do to fix this?

@narfcake I had never heard of this show. Now I am desperately hoping episodes are on YouTube or something so that I can watch it.

I see meh spreading comfort tonight – blanketing the surrounding areas eh meh?
These the same as last years microfiber? Mine is so warm and cozy.
Perfect for calming distraught microfibers!
@awk haha good one

@PurplePawprints I have a queen from the very first time they sold these (it’s great!) but now I’m tempted…
@PurplePawprints Okay, I did. New memory foam mattress, fancy bamboo sheets, new comforter- I have a theme going here. I may spend the year in bed.
@OldCatLady Congrats on the new bedding! There’s no better feeling than climbing into a comfy bed.
@PurplePawprints Yes…and fold the king size in half for a 52" width double thickness comforter for the young ones!
@harveydanger good gravy, you all are So Old! oh wait a second…Yeah, I did buy one of these! Someone said “soft” and I had to go check my comforter and orders. What the fuck? This is actually relevant NOW instead of the more typical “off-season” stuff!
@narfcake This is last winter’s model.
@narfcake you forget it won’t actually show up until after winter’s over.
@cinoclav Oh? Okay. Phew.
(Panic adverted.)
@march5th00 SnailPost isn’t that that slow.
@cinoclav warm never goes out of fashion.
@sparkyfarad
The cat in the first picture has a look that says “I have discovered a new plane of Hell”.
I’m only buying this because the cat’s refusing to sleep on my feet tonight, and they’re cold.
In for 2.

0-fer 2017, meh. The good news is that there’s plenty of time to make it up to me.
This comforter: he is my binky now.
bought this last winter. It’s soft, has held up nicely, not stained even with 2 dogs jumping on the bed, and is very warm without being too warm. Definitely recommend.
oh this is an amazing buy. I’ve got two of these things. highly recommend it.
@boygenius1991 I kept thinking, “What’s with all these people buying multiple comforters?! How many beds do they have?!?”
Then I recalled (wistfully) that not everyone lives alone in a 1-bedeoom apartment.
@UncleVinny yeah that’s why, this one’s for my guest room.
I bought the chocolate one on a past sale. Love it! I no longer use any other comforter. So when it needs washed I have to get it done in one day. Tempted to get another as a spare.
Winter? It sure doesn’t feel like it here in Florida. How about a comforter that keeps people cool? I’d buy that immediately.
@JT954 It’s called a sheet.
@JT954 There are these open weave sheets that I’ve gotten in the Philippines, don’t keep warm but have that nice heavy feeling (even in Florida, I had trouble falling asleep without a blanket, something about needing to feel cozy under the weight.)
@Kawa my problem is that it needs to be fluffy, not heavy.
Meh the queen is $31.00 on ebay hardly the deep discount i’m used to from Team Meh …Nice item but not such a good deal today …
@mellowirishgent It’s not summer.
@mellowirishgent I’d rather buy here.
@sparkyfarad OF COURSE BUY MEH THEIR CHEAPER AND OUR FRIENDS, WAS JUST STATING
THE OBVIOUS …
@mellowirishgent hey, mellow out, Irish gent
@harveydanger clever , you think that up all by yourself?
Predicted low tonight is 14 degrees. Pretty good incentive, meh, how’d you do it?
@KDemo They didn’t. You’re gonna freeze your ass off. Once it arrives the weather will warm up to an unseasonable 78 degrees.
@cinoclav - !
@cinoclav Promise? I will take them all. (Yes, I am selfish) Current actual temp is 25 and with the wind up to 38mph it feels like 1.
I am curled up in a previous sale comforter trying to justify more.
You guys jacked the price up by 5 bucks… still bought it.
Don’t care enough to write more.
@mike808 Meh.
Why only 1? Based on the last few days, I thought this was 2-fer 2017?!
@placeholder It is. You buy the King and cut it half. Wa-la! You now have two Twins for the price of one!
@cinoclav Touche, my friend, Touche.
I’m no good with scissors… I hope that it has an easy-tear middle seam.
@placeholder Um, that was the whole point of the 2-fer knives yesterday! You have to plan ahead for these things.
As far as stuff to binge watch, @jasontoon, The Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman. I don’t know if it’s still available but if it is, you’ll thank me.
Microfiber is for pussies. Bring on the nanofiber bitches.
@gak0090 Nano? Bring on the Macrofibers bitches!! I want big chunky fibers rubbing off layers of skin while keeping me warm!
Love these! Very cozy.

@Jcast617 That has to be one of the best gifs ever.
@OldCatLady I’m torn between these two…
– and –
Mehhhh. Bought 2 last time around; really cheap feeling. They’re useful as drunk-people-sleeping-on-my-floor blankets, but 2’s enough for that
@manfrin be optimistic! 2017 may bring you a tremendous increase in sexxxay drunks sleeping on your floors.
I’m laying in bed right now with the microfiber comforter over me that I bought from meh last November. Love this thing.
“medium warmth” - but maximum humidity. Enjoy your sweaty cracks.
@Pufferfishy Basically you’re saying you’ll come down with a case of the swamp ass. I don’t need any help for that shit to happen.
/giphy enjoyable-sweaty-cracks
@Pufferfishy
lets hope this easily justifiable purchase keeps me as warm as they say
I cannot wait for the post work zombie crawl onto this Microfiber Comforter so I can enjoy that epic nap of awesomeness on a whole new level!

in for 2!
/giphy feathered-tangible-bell
Only down will do for this dude
Meh. My current comforter is fine. Offer this next year after I move, please!
This was such a great comforter for lying on the couch while I recovered from my knee surgery! Blanket snobs aside, this really is a great purchase!
@wickhameh Funny, I bought two for presents and a third for snuggling under on the couch.
Although I doubt I need this comforter, I am considering basically seriously cheap bonus points from my wife. She would pile on five of these freakin’ things together and then turn the heat up to 93 degrees…and then put on socks and still complain that she is cold.
@pcfriendly Must be a latina. Mine is the same way
@jdjonesdr I thought all females (excluding those at the age of Hot Flashing) experienced this…
@pcfriendly Nope. I’m the opposite model who keeps the thermostat set on 67 in the winter, run around the house in tanks and shorts, and still complain about being hot while my family huddles under all the comforters I’ve bought.
@PurplePawprints Now that thar is the marrying kind…
@PurplePawprints Now that’s the kind of woman I like. I keep getting attracted to the ones that are cold in 80° F while I am sitting next to them sweating.
This is the first time in eighteen months that I’ve bought something on Meh; and I got two! Winter has been mild, so far, but I expect hell to freeze over and need to be prepared.
@runester Hell will freeze over starting Jan 20th so if you are lucky it will arrive before then.
@Kidsandliz if “the road” has taught me anything about the post apocalyptic hellscape to come, it’s that a good blanket and a pull cart go a long way.
@runester I would add to that list a cat cage and cat food and some chocolate are also needed : )
I only need a twin but somehow feel like I should buy a king and cut it in half.
@sammydog01 sounds painful
@El_Oel I do have a nice assortment of knives…
@sammydog01 ah yes, the classic “Inverse Judgment of Solomon”

The product I bought is RAD. Which makes ME RAD!!
@harrison This is your best photo shoot yet for the comforters!
@dashcloud compliment @Kylethephotoguy. He’s still using the same image from the first one.
This is disgusting!!! Do you know how many polyesters have to die to make this thing?? If you ever cared about those little creatures…well, it just makes me wanna cry.
SAVE THE POLYESTERS!!!
Medium warmth? What good is medium warmth? It’s 45 degrees in my apartment at night, I need maximum warmth.
Medium warmth? This is a summer weight comforter in Michigan. Having griped about them, yes, I have two from previous meh sales.
still waiting on my hersheys brown one
Just arrived and unpacked. Perfect weight for Florida winter. Hope it comes around again, b/c I’ll buy another. Very pleased.
Total junk. My sheets have more fill then this piece of crap. Total rip off
@richmart I ran it through the dryer with a couple of tennis balls to fluff it.
Anyone actually get theirs delivered yet? Mine (khaki) still shows processing…
@aerosquid Mine came last week.
Mine has been quite useful so far. I got a King sized comforter for my Queen sized bed, which has given me plenty room. I’m a husky boy, so it’s been just the right amount of warmth for me during this odd Indiana winter. A bit humid, but it’s polyester, what did I expect?
Very pleased with the Queren size Meh comfortor. Keeping me warm in this extended winter time thanks to that dam ground hog.
Total crap! The one I bought is in the trash. You should be ashamed of yourself sound when shit like this
@richmart Eloquent, lucid and elegant. Everyone looks forward to your posts.
I bought this in King sized, tan from you a couple of months, knowing that I’d be getting a bed to put it on. I bought a king size and after the first wash it has some faded parts.
@nangomez first wash in 2 years?
@Ignorant @nangomez ewww

@capguncowboy @Ignorant @nangomez Double ewww
/giphy nasty bed
@capguncowboy @Ignorant @nangomez @therealjrn It’s a comforter, not bedsheets.
Do wash your mattress, too?
@Ignorant @Limewater @nangomez @therealjrn I have a mattress cover on my mattress. And it gets washed regularly too
@Limewater I don’t wash the comforter every week when I wash the sheets, but I definitely wash it more than once every 2 years ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
