Not his best, but I’m still a sucker for his performance in The Game. The movie is awful, but he does a decent job playing a man who has no idea what is going on. Admittedly, from some stories I’ve read about things behind the scenes, it wasn’t all acting, but still.
Glad to see that Falling Down is on the list and up there in votes.
The China Syndrome. Maybe not best performance, but at his cutest for sure!
“Streets of San Francisco”- predates The China Syndrome @KDemo.

I prefer his Family Guy cameo…
I liked him as the president in The American President… I must have watched that movie 1000x back in the day…
@benjaMEHn I love the music from that movie. There are a couple tracks used in the queue at Soarin’ at Disneyland which is how I discovered it.
Falling Down should win, it was Most Awesome!!!
I chose Gekko because it has become such an iconic character.
Who?
Kirk Douglas’s son’s greatest performance was on the small screen. Michael Douglas on Will and Grace
@huja I copy that!!
Didn’t he do the Paul Rubens story too?
It was hard to pick one. He played such different and unique roles in each one. He did a great performance as the Drug Czar in the movie “Traffic”.
i like kirk douglas ( his dad) better tho- and he just celebrated 100 this last dec.
