Meh's 10th birthday Cookbook
22Remember way back when last week when we asked for your favorite recipes?
Meh remembers.
I tallied up the votes and put the winners all together in a pdf for you, so can print it out and remember that time when other random people on the internet thought your food was a good idea.

Well now I wish I took the time to share a recipe!!
@Jamileigh17’s avocado dip made in there twice!
@Kyeh You’re right!
I looked through it and saw that it was 10 pages, but the first page had no recipes. So the pigeonhole principle says some of them got placed on the same page. I was curious which or how many (and if any were longer than a page), and ended up counting 11 recipes in there.
I’m glad someone else had already done the crosschecking to figure out which one it was.
@xobzoo I kind of wish they’d just gone ahead and included everyone’s recipes.
@Kyeh @xobzoo I guess the PDF was full.
OH MY GOD THEY KILLED GLEN AND SERVED HIM FOR DINNER ON A PLATE WITH A FANCY CLOCHE… EXCEPT HE DIDN’T DIE AND IS TRYING TO ESCAPE!!!
Oh I didn’t think they’d make a PDF.
I would have dug a little deeper in my bag of hacks. And leftovers. And meh foods. (Seriously, ramen and hummus is a great combination.)
One recipe I’m particularly fond of discovering with my friends over Christmas: gluten-free 2-minute banana bread.
Blend two overripe bananas until liquidated; add 1 large egg, a tablespoon of milk, and blend some more. Pour mixture into a microwave safe bowl; add walnuts, cover bowl with plate (as a loose lid).
Microwave for 30~60 seconds, until egg becomes a souffle.
Thanks to the lid, it traps enough moisture to bread-ify the eggs and bananas, but not tightly enough that it pressurizes the contents.
Seems a missed opportunity not to have at least one Margarita recipe
@scilynt put 4 limes in a blender with 2 cups sugar and 2 cups water. Blend, strain, add more water to the sugar lime mess and blend until it’s the dilution you like. (I like it at about a liter total liquid). Add a cup of tequila, quarter cup brandy, quarter cup grand Mariner. Stir. Freeze overnight for best results.
There, maybe they can swap the extra copy of my dip for that? They go together brilliantly
