Meh Yam Mayhem: An Unmehficial Contest

19

Thanksgiving. A celebration of food. No other holiday is as dominated by the menu as "Turkey Day".

As your November goat, I am therefore inviting you to join me in a food-filled celebration of meh.

The rules are simple. Create meh-themed food art. Any food. Anything meh.

Entries will be judged in three categories:
Just meh -- Use food to create the actual word "meh." (Like I did with that sweet potato up there.)
Examples: Spell it with ketchup. Arrange green beans to form the letters. Carve meh into something.

Basic Art -- Most entries that aren't the actual letters will fall into this category.
Examples: Pancake Irk. Condiment portrait of of Glen. Any image, created from food, that makes you think of meh.

Over the Top -- This category is for the people who say, "Screw mediocre, I'm awesome!" This ensures that the average mediocre person can win something without having to beat the guy who empties his fridge and pantry to create a food masterpiece.
Examples: A potato caved into the shape of a speaker dock. A 3D sculpture of TTM. A food goat?

Submissions are due by the end of Saturday, November 28th.

Everyone is qualified to participate (including mediocre staff and people who contributed prizes). You can submit as many creations as you want. The goal here is to have fun and to amass as much food art as we possibly can.

Prizes will be awarded to at least the top two submissions for each category. The prizes are a random assortment of items offered by the awesome members of this community and include a clickface shirt and something handcrafted by the amazing @jaremelz. But let's be honest... if you participate, you've already won.

Voting won't happen in this thread. After the submission deadline, I will organize all of the images into a new, clean post and we will vote to select winners. I will also post the images without names, to make voting with a bias require more effort. So don't be stingy with your stars over here.

Now get out there and show me that we are the kind of adults who play with our food!
