Meh Valentine's Day Surprise
28Today a magical creature known as @trillian, popped by and delivered two containers full of magical confections. Meh staffers pounced and are now enjoying a late afternoon sugar coma.
The descriptions here are pure gold.
These are some of the best cookies we've had. Please share your recipe!
And last, but not least, we got this gem.
I won't post the whole thing just yet, we have something planned for this. ;)

Very, very nice, @trillian! @hollboll Were all Meh employees required to have a pre-employment weigh in?
@Barney How else would you measure company growth?
@katylava Ha!
@Barney
@heartny Since I am binge watching Star Trek episodes this weekend, I'm on full impulse power and can eat a whole box of thin mints in one sitting. :)
@Barney Been there, done that :-)
@Barney Me too. Personal record is two boxes in one 18-hour day. Probably why my cardiologist bitches at me (politely) about losing weight.
@Barney Which series?
@magic_cave Not allowing any fun in life is an oath that all cardiologists must take.
@ComputerMD82 Finished the original, now watching TNG.
I want tardis chocolates
@CaptAmehrican me too!
@CaptAmehrican they're boozy and delicious!
@hollboll I hope you exterminated those Daleks! The red velvet blossom recipe came from dessertnowdinnerlater.com. I’d never made them before so I was afraid I had overbaked them. The Doctor Who chocolate mold is actually an ice cube tray from Thinkgeek (currently on sale for 5 bucks!), and Wilton Royal Blue candy melts should really be re-named Tardis Blue. Sadly, I used a softer ganache for the Tardises, and many were lost in the unmolding. A moment of silence, please.
I made such a mess with the red and blue chocolate that my kitchen looks like I slaughtered a Smurf. Now wishing I had done a better job with the Book of Meh, however.
@Trillian I love the Daleks! I just added that tray to my wish list. Amazing job!
@Trillian If your house is anything like the one I grew up in, as kids we prayed and prayed for a cookie making disaster. All mom mostly gave us is the burnt and broken ones as she generally gave away the good ones. As we got older we figured out just how much to cook them so they were too cooked to give away but not too burnt to eat. Yeah and it is amazing how many times cookies got dropped. Real butter fingers in our house. 5 second rule ruled. LOL
@sammydog01 I bought 3 ice cube trays. I am thinking of using one tray for non-food purposes, like plaster of paris models I can paint, or perhaps candles?
Lucky dogs! This looks great @Trillian.
