OOh, yes please! And maybe make them only available for Kickstarters. That would be ideal!
I registered with the Cubs to be randomly selected to have the chance to purchase tickets for the post season, but sadly I got the same “wah wah” email for each series.
It worked last year, though, and I got to go to game 3 of the NLCS. I was hoping my lucky might carry over…
No problem, as long as you are good with refurbs. After each game is over, Meh can pick up the used tickets, wipe 'em off and sell 'em to you for a fraction of the cost of new ones.
In legend, the Chicago Cubs, in long years past, dissed a special Goat owned by a long term avid fan who owned the Billy Goat Tavern. (Supposedly, when the tavern owner brought his pet Goat to World Series games, other fans objected to the Goat’s smell and made them leave.). The Cubs have since tried to make amends to the Goat. It’s a Welch thing, and a bar/pub thing, and a Chicago thing, I think.
By long legend, thus are the Cubs cursed to lüserville until the Goat grants favor and reprieve, if I understand the Billy Goat Curse.
The Cleveland Indians have a curse of their own, reputedly placed upon them when they traded away a star player to cut costs. The traded player, Rocky Colavito, did not place a curse, or desire a curse - but legend holds that a curse was placed.
What is our Goat’s stance on tonite’s game and the 2016 World Series? Will the Goat Curse be lifted and the Cubs win after a drought of 108 years? Or will the Goat’s favor go to the Cleveland Indians, who have a drought of 68 years, and relieve them of their Colavito Curse?
(These two teams have the longest World Series championship droughts in Major League Baseball.)
Please.
And cheap plane tix to go with.
@f00l don’t get greedy now.
@carl669
???
Why not, exactly? Logically speaking?
Can you make a case that the odds will drop?
@carl669
PS
Will a goat attend?
Hey @ignorant! Are you going to the World Series?
Maybe if it involved more of the … world.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I was lucky enough to get a game 7 ticket though the Indians pre sale. I don’t think it’ll get that far, but if it does it’ll be epic.
