Meh membership
1My membership ends tomorrow. If I don’t cancel but then cancel in a month before my next renewal, do I get a refund of the charge I’ll get tomorrow? So basically I could get almost two months of membership for the price of one?
Frequently Asked Questions
Exactly how does the billing cycle work on my membership?
Following your initial payment to join, your membership is billed at the end of each month of enrollment, so you are using benefits free until your renewal date. You may cancel your membership at any time and we’ll end your benefits and waive your partial-month bill. You may view your membership agreement here.
So I can basically get a free month at the end of my membership before I cancel?
Yes, since we waive all partial-month fees, you may enjoy those benefits free up until your renewal date.

You are always paying at the end of the month for the that month. If you cancel on October 31st, you will have already received your benefit for October when you get your $4.99 back.
If you cancel on the 1st, your benefits will end on the 1st (because that is when you canceled), and you won’t be billed for November on November 30.
TL;DR No, you will not get two months “free”.
Wait. Perhaps I was under the false impression that if you had actually used the benefit - that is, you ordered something during “the month” - then there was no refund?
That the 100% refund could only happen if you had not ordered during that “month-cycle.”
So you get the monthly fee refunded whether or not you ordered something?
@RedOak

/giphy you are correct!
Seems like an awful lot of mental calisthenics for $5.

Some Mehtizens consider the exercise of saving a few bucks, heck, even a few pennies, a worthwhile and inherently satisfying exercise in and of itself.
And knowing the answers to such things as Member entry-exit strategies is, unlike with VMP, a repeatable strategy.
