@LumpsRGood Meh will accept Paypal payments via Paypal Mastercard Debit card. I use mine at loads of places. Anywhere that accepts Mastercard accepts it. I think it also helps you get into full FF leagues

Appears to me there is more standing around in football than baseball - nothing much happens except that they keep trying again to get it right. The only reason why I'd play is if someone paid me to save them from coming in last. LOL

@nodnetni http://games.espn.go.com/ffl/mockdraftlobby They have mock drafts you can check out. ESPN gives a fair amount of info and ranks all the players. With 16 teams it's pretty hard to try and plan out who you want, the only research you would really need is of injuries and suspensions, but I think those are listed on the espn stats too.

@jimmyd103 I'll do my best. You can submit trade offers to other teams for their players. They can accept it or reject it. Sometimes they'll counter-offer. If they do accept a trade, the league has the right to veto your trade (You can't trade LeSean McCoy for Phillip Rivers without raising alarm).

@jimmyd103 Waivers are when you pick someone off of the free agent wire. Anyone can claim a player, but you have to drop someone from your roster to make space for them. There is a waiver order (normally reverse of the rank in the league -- last place gets first pick). All waivers can be submitted at any time, and will take effect on Wednesday. If you want someone, you had better hope someone with a lower waiver order didn't also want them, or say goodbye

@jimmyd103 Best strategy? Don't play in a 16 team league. Don't forget to check the waivers daily -- you never know. If a key player gets injured (say Calvin Johnson), then other receivers on his team are going to be getting more playtime. More play time = more points (maybe). Don't be afraid to make a trade offer. Someone might have 2-3 really good running backs, but no wide receivers. I've managed to score some great wide receivers in exchange for a mediocre running back (and vise-versa). Have fun. Remember, when you're bitching and complaining, it's not fun for anyone.

@medz The problem with these 16 team leagues is that it's very very hard to come back if one of your major players is injured or doesn't perform. I'd say go for trades over waivers because the FAs left are scraping the bottom of the barrel for the most part.

@medz I have 3 decent TE's in league 3...I played one as my flex and it payed off, which league are you in?

@JonT My team took a huge hit when Ray Rice was cut. I drafted him much earlier than I should.

@Thumperchick I would step in later if you get frustrated with it. Draft day was bad for me and I chose to watch instead of play. You should stick with it. A couple websites compile the stats for you. It can take a few minutes or half the day to stay caught up if you really get into it.

@TaRDy I don’t think it’s very sportsman like to take advantage of absent owners. The 3 meh leagues are mostly made up of 1st time fantasy players, and with each league having 16 teams the odds should be stacked against anyone just beating the hell out of everyone else week after week. I think an absentee owner should be left alone which would allow even the crappiest team an occasional victory. If the leagues were composed of die hard fantasy players, yes, go for those trades. But it ruins everyone else’s fun when one guy becomes juggernaut and will obviously win the whole thing.

@TaRDy, (after looking into it) the other half of that trade was my husband. He isn't absent from his team and felt that JT was underperforming and that it was a decent trade for him. Whether or not you agree is a different story. At least in this instance, both parties agreed and no poaching happened.

@Teripie the violent string of profanities when I lost in my other league was pretty severe. I was up by 35 points after week 1, and lost by 6 points when the second week was totaled in. LeSean mccoy had three goal line td runs handed to the backup running backs. Three. Any one of those tds would have given me the win. Had Chip Kelly been present, I probably would have stabbed him with a soldering iron. I've cooled off now, but Chip Kelly is still an asshole.

@Teripie 16 team leagues are ridiculous. You are scouring practice squads for running backs by the time the playoffs come. 12 team league is the way to go.
