@shahnm@stinks According to some new nicks in the forum, no they did not. I got mine though. Two different shipments even. I first ordered just two, then went back for two more. They are still showing as shipped but not delivered.
I thought it was a neat promotion, even though it was flubbed…but was it flubbed really?
The irony of the trackr shipments not being tracked is not lost on me!
@myi That was only the 16th, not a week ago, so may not be the same item Schmoozer is talking about. Sometimes it takes a few days to ship, so I wouldn’t worry yet. My guess is that they took a look at their inventory and some may have been damaged so they are cancelling rather than sending out damaged merchandise only to have to issue refunds.
@ybmuG Schmoozer1262’s profile shows a join date of September 16th and only one item ordered, so that suggests the ordered item was the pressure cooker. A few other people in the thread for them have also indicated that they had their orders canceled.
I wonder if this is another manufacturer trying to pull the same scam Quip did.
@lljk Well, let’s hope not. My order is still active, but I did place it about 1am EST. So if they are cancelling orders placed close to the sellout time around 11 pm, that might make sense. We’ll see if this is a simple shortage or another Quip. Maybe we’ll get t-shirts!
I’m pretty sure there was a reason. They might not have told it to you (write in to support for that), but there had to be a reason to reverse the flow of money in this transaction.
Ordered trackr, got them and used them. Good stuff. Ordered antenna, got it and used it, but DOA. Called in and they refunded. So far meh done good by me.
