Plenty of tech jobs to fill in the Dallas area if you're into Node.js, MongoDB, Redis, InfluxDB, Salesforce, Azure (or want to help us move to AWS): https://meh.com/jobs
@shawn Ahhh, cool. While I'd love to sign up for a job (being a web developer myself), two things preclude me: I would need mega training on those techs (I would learn fairly quickly, though) and I'm in upstate NY. Boo.
you're wrong.
@cwh so are you
@corey @cwh Ooooh oooooh fight fight
@corey think again
Works beautifully? They keep getting server error for the last 50 min on and off… Opps.
@Kidsandliz To be fair though, that is entirely @studerc 's fault.
@Kidsandliz Blame The Bt Keyboard. Must Have Overwhelmed The Servers? Nah... @Studerc Strikes again
Something about... snakes?
Actually, it was built in .Net.... Little different than ASP. Also has a bunch of other cool technologies in there.

As someone who works with IIS, last night's errors were certainly IIS ones.
You guys are all fancy with your IIS 8...
@corey what technology should we have used?
@shawn Perl, of course.
@SSteve Python on Linux.
@shawn LOLCODE
@shawn Java *ducks
@The_Baron Java*ducks sounds like the programming language for me.
@corey @BillLehecka for what it's worth, we didn't build mediocre.com or meh.com with ASP or .NET.

@shawn what's medicore's policy on remote workers?
@cwh I think their policy is "it's fine as long as you come into the office every day."
@cwh I've worked with some remote consultants, but we're trying to build out the team in the Dallas office.
@shawn I thought ya'll were avoiding AWS on purpose. You could use the RackSpace Cloud. I know a guy there. Well, for now.
@Tom we're actually using some AWS stuff right now, including their CloudFront CDN
