Terrible deal at $150+ a piece. Great deal at $40 a piece. I bought two a couple months ago and liked them enough that I ordered two more when they went up for sale again during the last meh ra thon.
Only issue I’ve had is that usually in the first like 5 minutes the two speakers (haven’t got to try 4 yet) will go out of sync for like 5 seconds.
They sound decent, not great. They have a nice weight to them and they look awesome with the lights. They’ve also been sounding better as they’ve been getting used, so the speaker cones getting limbered up is helping things.
I bought “BEYOURD
3/4” Buckles and Straps Set: 6 Yards of Thick Nylon Webbing" from Amazon for $10 to make straps for all of them I have. Seemed the cheapest route to nicely carry them all. 8 have no regrets.

Now OLED is on some generations of iPhones, some expensive laptops, Best version of Nintendo Switch, but not Switch2 yet(?). And the LG TV I am watching now. Seriously, no goin’ back.

@djslack@UncleMel cool! I wrote elsewhere in here that the sound isn’t great, but it is descent. Real good at $40 a pop, plus all the light options look cool as hell. I even bought a 4 ended USBC C cord so I could charge them all at once. The sound also improves as they get used for a while and the speaker cones loosen up.
We have three of these and love them. We have linked them up and put them in certain areas for BBQs or parties. They’re kind of amazing tbh. I think I read a few people had issues with them but ours have been ace.

I rarely use a Bluetooth speaker but today I used the JBL removable dash BT speaker from my Tacoma while I was working in the garage. As usual I was just listening to podcasts which don’t really require stellar sound. The JBL is shockingly good for its size.
@MrGoodGuy Ok, that’s quite brilliant. Wish l had done that before, for aesthetic reasons, I just peeled the rubber MEE brand letters off and threw them away. Anyway, they ARE peel-able, and someone else could easily pull that off nicely with a little peel, cut, and paste.
And incidentally, I bought 2 the last time they were sold here and am extremely pleased with them. Amazing deal at this price.
@mrdancer Even if one does play in stereo (there are enough individual speakers on it), if it’s sound coming from pretty much the same spot it isn’t going to sound like stereo either way.

I’ve got a 2006 LG 32" TV with speakers that has a wide-area sound option that makes the sound seem like it is coming from opposite sides of the room. Unfortunately, it is just a 720p tv (which was like $900 on 2006).
Just bought another after being surprised at performance for peice. One for home, and now one for office where I can rock out with my cock out (behind my locked office door).
