The video indicates that to skip to the next track, you triple-tap the left-hand earbud, and for the previous track, you triple-tap the right-hand earbud. Whose idea was that??
On the other hand (lol), volume controls are associated with the directions you might expect.
Slightly better here even with shipping, but I might rather have clear if I’m advertising VHS tapes on my ears.
Like, seriously, don’t most people do this every week? Everyone has a brain-blip from time to time, but how are there people who hang out in the middle of an aisle with their cart askew, blocking all progress, while they chat with their partner, trying to remember what else they need for dinner?
It looks like these are touch-sensitive and not buttons? I’d like to wear these to sleep, but my other cheap open earbuds use touch and my ear keeps activating them when I lay down. The Nothing Opens are the only ones I’ve seen with pressure-sensitive controls.

Wireless fish hooks you say?
Oh. No you don’t say.
These certainly look like ass, and I bet they sound like ass too.
I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing these.
@robson you definitely won’t be able to hear from them if you’re dead.
/8ball Do I need yet another pair of earbuds to add to my collection, even though these are earhooks?
Yes definitely
No control functions seem to be addressed; are they capable of, pausing a stream so a conversation can be conducted?
@rjquillin It’s covered in the video. You can play, pause, next/previous track, adjust volume, accept/decline calls
A very stylish case! Unique. I like it.

I’ve always wanted headphones from the same people who made my VHS tapes 40 years ago. Thanks!
@dvermilion The brand appears on button batteries now, too. (But not for the US market, although they turn up on eBay and such.)
Come on, Amazon has clear for $20.50.

/giphy thank you

@stinks You’re advertising batteries and audio cassette tapes now. VHS is dead, HD killed the video tape.
@werehatrack Obviously not a connoisseur de film.

Signs point to yes
Say it
@JohnQ118 OK, are they stored in WATER in that stylish creepy case? it sure looks like it. I’ma in just to find out. (and what the Magic 8-ball said)

/8ball are you rigged to say yes when we ask you if we should buy this?
It is certain
I dislike earbuds that have to be shoved into the ear so I’m down for these.

So is Maxell still actually a company, or is a matter of someone owns the IP rights and just sells the name to whomever?
/showme a super radical Maxell cassette named whomever
