It's like with frozen broccoli, based on the picture you think you're getting a nice mix but you bring it home and it's all stems. Meh made sure you won't have that problem.
OK i see there are bubbles in the glass and ?? big deal the italian glasses that i bought last month are in the closet well collecting what ever they collect when not used ....getting bored only bougth the battery charges in the past week .. Meh had a good week just not items i can use ..
@mellowirishgent Thanks for pointing out the bubbles in the glasses! (I love that-adds a bit of whimsey.) Now I definitely will buy a set for me as well as a few others for future gifts.
While I'm the sort of ass who snorts at the idea of drinking wine out of soda glass, there's one detail I'd like to reiterate here: these are made right here in 'mehrica. There are few major companies still producing bulk glassware here: Corning (fuck them for selling bullshit domestic Pyrex), Anchor Hocking, Libbey, and Luminarc. I genuinely dislike so much about these glasses (soda glass, lack of stem), but still would beg of anyone not bothered by these things to support 'Mehrican manufacture…
@brhfl How many sets did u buy? I don't really need them but after learning they are made in the good 'ol USA, I may need to buy a few sets... will make great housewarming or Christmas or wedding gifts at a great price. C'mon Mehricans-support 'Mehrica! The challenge is on!
While we are at it, how about more American made stuff on Meh?!
@bdb Purely an aesthetic thing - it's those little 'bubbles' in the surface of the glass. Some people like it, it kinda looks a bit mid-century. Or it looks 90s wine bar.
This is too weird. I walked to my computer with a stemless wine glass in my hand to check out what was on Meh today. I'm a rebel though. I am drinking white from a red wine glass.
Alright, I bought them, cause they are made in the USA. I want to like wine , I do, but it just taste so nasty. So I figure, I'll just pour my can of beer in the glass and be almost as fancy as the fancy wine drinkers. 6 pack of beer or a bottle of wine were all still drunks. Why do wine drinkers think they are not? And beer drinkers know that they are.
@mick Some of us wine drinkers are more than happy to admit to being drunks. While I like wine, my primary reason for choosing it over beer is that beer gives me gas that could rival a French bulldog on an all-egg diet.
My friends are clumsy enough to have broken 3 stems on "real" wine glasses in the last two months, so I'm in. I'll continue drinking from the bottle, myself.
(1) at 15 oz, aren't these a bit big for wine glasses? (2) LUMINARC doesn't have the best reputation in the glassware business... (3) At a dollar a glass, they ain't cheap, as I can pick up any Luminarc 15 oz glass at a dollar store...
@wasb Would that be the set of FOUR glasses? The set of FOUR for $15.99? Or the set of TWELVE - which is the same number as this offer, BTW - for $32.46?
I received my order of 12 wine glass with one of them broken, was so disappeared as I had order them for a July 4th party. now I am short a beautiful. received today 6/20/15.
Probably my fault for not looking at the pictures closely or reading the specs, but I was really surprised by the bubbles. It wouldn't be an issue at all, except that some of the bubbles give the glasses bumps. Oh well, they were a dollar each.

Meh.
@Bluedragon07 second that blah bored meh
Nice price, but I don't need 'em. Meh
Shouldn't the blue be Windshield washer fluid instead of Antifreeze
@stryper2000 Auto companies make it whatever color they want. Some BMW is blue. Some Volvo is blue. Porsche is pink. GM is orange/red.
@givemeyoursoul And they're all delicious.
@Rosstafari You are correct Sir. So sweet! I like Dex cool the best I think.
@givemeyoursoul And if you buy the Chinese toothpaste at the dollar store, it's either green or blue.
@givemeyoursoul thank for the clarification , now back to my glass of Prestone 50/50
My waterbottle is my wine glass.
@rmf83 My wine bottle is my wine glass.
@Rosstafari Just add a straw... Save the fancy glasses for company.
I was hoping for just the stems. Oh well.
@mehgrl Stem the rose??
@mehgrl You could've impaled a nice selection of meats and cheeses on them.
Dr Pepper...wouldn't you like to be a pepper too?
@eeterrific Only if its from Dublin.
@dayne One of the best parts of working in Granbury, TX in July/August was the close proximity to Dublin. Holy crap, that's good Dr. Pepper.
Cow milk?

Wine glasses...I don't even drink wine. But at $1 each, I'm feeling the compulsion. I'm sorry but... I'm gonna buy one!
@deputyderp I love to drink milk from a wine glass-try it, you'll never go back to a mason jar!
Love the brand, Luminarc. Wish I needed glasses but, alas, I don't.

@brhfl The soda glass really bugs me, too.
@brhfl @austinstorm What is the problem with it being soda glass? (Keeping in mind I have no idea what soda glass is.)
@bdb it clashes with fedoras and unicycles.
@wildmomo oops... Should have started with TL;DR Buy American.
@bdb Purely an aesthetic thing - it's those little 'bubbles' in the surface of the glass. Some people like it, it kinda looks a bit mid-century. Or it looks 90s wine bar.
@austinstorm Thank you.
wine already comes in it's own glass.
or box.
either way- it's ready to drink from.
@alacrity I prefer the box, because it has the convenient "twist to drink" feature.
How do they make stemless wine? The grapes just bob around in a vat of nutrients?
I was going to purchase - then I saw a glass of pickles marinating in olive oil, and garnished with a shriveled strawberry.
This is too weird. I walked to my computer with a stemless wine glass in my hand to check out what was on Meh today. I'm a rebel though. I am drinking white from a red wine glass.
I need it refurbished and with meh warranty but cheeeeaper!
@satih I would buy a refurbished glass just to see how it was possible.
@Rstoker there you go meh, that's how sales rise. and obviously the "cheeeaper" part
Don't need. All it takes is walking around the stands after one baseball game and my cupboards are full for years.
Alright, I bought them, cause they are made in the USA. I want to like wine , I do, but it just taste so nasty. @mirthmgr you're overinflating the issue
@mick Yay! Buy American!
My friends are clumsy enough to have broken 3 stems on "real" wine glasses in the last two months, so I'm in. I'll continue drinking from the bottle, myself.
@mirthmgr don't let your friends see you do that until they take their first sip.
Model: H4253... 4*2=8, 5+3=8... this is my 2^8th meh. Coincidence?
Damn!! Where were these two weeks ago?
@beachbum I would guess in a warehouse?
Would it be ironic if I 3D printed stems for these so I could hang them in my wine glass rack?
If they didn't have the ugly bubbles, I'd be in like Flynn.
(1) at 15 oz, aren't these a bit big for wine glasses?
(2) LUMINARC doesn't have the best reputation in the glassware business...
(3) At a dollar a glass, they ain't cheap, as I can pick up any Luminarc 15 oz glass at a dollar store...
"horse milk"
From the write-up to the right, all the people pictured had stemware. Almost bought them until I actually read the description. Color me disappointed.
Actually, Amazon sells this set for $15.99 (not the $48 cited in the Meh copy). With Prime's free shipping, Amazon is cheaper by $2.
@wasb Would that be the set of FOUR glasses? The set of FOUR for $15.99? Or the set of TWELVE - which is the same number as this offer, BTW - for $32.46?
@wasb But you get 8 extra glasses for the extra $1.01 on Meh...Yeah go check out the listing again and feel silly to have posted this.
3 random glasses broken but no damage to the box
@mlmooney1 you should let support know at https://meh.com/support
Junk...huge and irregular ugly bubbles in the glass...NOT a designer element.
@wordmavin you should let support know at https://meh.com/support
