@Shagbert
Although the Wikipedia page didn’t mention Mormonism, I watched that stupid Richard Branson reality show he won (I really hate to admit this) and I clearly remember him speaking openly of his faith throughout. This might be a better link.
@therealjrn but you bought from MorningSave so it wouldn’t have been as much, my (5 series) 7 seats and 8 sides were $1,500. @Spheyr I love mine too, definitely worth the price paid.
@Kerig3@Kidsandliz My math is solid. I ran the numbers and $45 is all I’d be willing to spend for two seats and four sides. Meh knows how to contact me if they accept.
Are there people who don’t allow their children to sit on their normal couches? “GET DOWN, THIS IS ADULT FURNITURE, BRAT! YOURS IS OVER THERE IN THE CORNER!”?
@Shagbert Pfft. That’s nothing, I had friends growing up that weren’t allowed into an ENTIRE ROOM full of plastic-covered furniture. I’m not sure, but I think the adults weren’t allowed in there either.
@dam091@therealjrn I’m presuming you mean (all of those)-American kids? Because the Spanish and Italian families I grew up knowing in the UK (and Spain and Italy) certainly didn’t have that as a setup.
Don’t waste your $$$ on these. I have two boys (12&9) and bought the gray ones last time they were available. They do NOT hold together! They have to prop them up against a wall to keep the back from falling off if they apply the smallest amount of pressure. I bought two sets and we now use one set strictly as a dog bed. Waste of money!
@bawhite1 I also purchased these last time. 5 seats and 5 sides, for a 5 year old and a 7 year old and their rather large dog. They use every day and even with rough housing, still look new. You should have taken heed of the age suggestions for this item.
I passed the last time but am more interested this time (either for a cat or a location that has bracing from adjacent walls). But these actually look kind of not cheap. Am I right that to create an “armchair” would require 1 seat + 3 sides = $45?
I bought these last time and found that they are extremely well made. If they didn’t together for you, I suggest you remind your kids to use them as furniture instead of a funhouse bouncy toy.

Someone’s getting the sac(k) today.
It’s too late to ask us to do the math required to know what to buy.
What’s in the Box?
1x Sac
This product name just sounds wrong.
@nolrak Someone around me was talking about Jared Fogle, then I check Meh and see the item is “Lovesac” “for Kids”…
@nolrak @Zeusandhera Also, if I understand correctly, Subway’s bread is made from the same material as these couch cushions.
@j4yx0r @Zeusandhera a combination of equal parts styrofoam and regret?
@JT954 I love purple.
this is too confusing to try to understand. like if i wanted to buy a chair, i wouldn’t know what to buy. so i buy nothing. that is all
@terrence You can construct a basic chair using one seat ($15) and three sides (3x$10). So, the chair would cost $45 before tax+shipping.
This is like the 9th time they sold this. Assuming nobody is buying?
What? Again? Well I guess it is for pets too and dogs may have chewed them up already.
@Kidsandliz since it uses magnets, not a good idea for dogs.
@Fzero Good thing you pointed that out since they put pet use in the write up.
Missed opportunity to show us a Tetris formation.
ok, this just seems highly inappropriate. I do not appreciate the mental imagery of a kid’s lovesac.
@alacrity Not a pet’s though??
@Hanky none of mine have them anymore…
The lovesac is a little old place where
We can get together
Meh has been overrun by hippies, man. Who else would think Lovesac and then think “for the kids”?
@hchavers Lovesac was started by a Mormon.
@hchavers @Kerig3 I totally misread the last line of that bio as “4 wives and children”.
@Shagbert

Imagine the pillow fort you could make…

@IcePopBOD aawwww Community blanket fort!!!
Tempted at this price. Not digging the color though.
@Ignorant Yeah, too bad they don’t have any of the adult sizes left. I wish I had sprung for a couch when they had them before.
@Ignorant @therealjrn I have a Sactional, adult size. They’re awesome. Three seats and five sides. Totally worth the $2200ish I spent on them.
PANS! GLANDS! CRAYONS! AWESOME!
@Ignorant @Spheyr Cool!
Oh yeah…now I remember why I didn’t get them…I like my ottoman/base/whatever though. Very high quality.
@therealjrn but you bought from MorningSave so it wouldn’t have been as much, my (5 series) 7 seats and 8 sides were $1,500.
@Spheyr I love mine too, definitely worth the price paid.
@Ignorant I have these in the grey(?) color and my one year old loves it! The covers are washable and fairly durable against my baby shark of a child.
@seraphimcaduto yeah grey I would’ve probably gone for it.
@Ignorant @seraphimcaduto @RiotDemon Did someone say baby shark?
@Barney @RiotDemon @seraphimcaduto

I picked up some of these the last time they were sold to give to my 7-year-old daughter for Christmas. She loves it.
Here’s a price comparison with the previous sale on 2018-11-01, that included only pre-bundled sets:
I’m in for a couple more sides to give my daughter some more configuration options. I got an amusingly appropriate order number:

So… To make a chair. A simple chair… For one kid… Without arms… $25 with arms $45 add more for non VMP…
Why…?
Quick search on A->Z turns up a lot of cheaper & nicer options.
How LoveSack thought this was a good idea for a product is beyond me.
@Chronicle Value seems to be once you scale it a bit? $100 for a decent
quality kids couch with a lounger isn’t so bad.
I could do $45 for two seats and four sides.
@medz Uh, your math might be off a tad.
@Kerig3 That is why it is only in @medz’s dreams…
@Kerig3 @Kidsandliz My math is solid. I ran the numbers and $45 is all I’d be willing to spend for two seats and four sides. Meh knows how to contact me if they accept.
@medz Ahhh, “alternative” math.
No joke, I have been waiting for this to come back and I was all ready to buy… the grey ones.
@someusername They’ll eventually be grey.
“Hey kids, want to sit on my LoveSacs?” is a question no one should ever ask!
What do I need to buy if I’m trying to assemble a proper throne for myself?
@Brandon313 maybe not this??
@Brandon313 1000 swords and a dragon.
The MSRP on these is so bogus. $150 per seat!?
@awesomerobot wow, your nick…its just so…uh… awesome!
WORKER BEES! HERCULES! TURKEY GREASE! AWESOME!
@awesomerobot @therealjrn Definitely don’t look at the full size MSRP then.
Why do kids and pets need Loveshacks?
I got my first job when I was 11.
What’s up with these poll options, Meh? This is discrimination against child labor! Come on, child labor practices never killed… oh, wait. Nevermind.
The grand children are going to like these…
@rustyh3 aww. I bet they will Gramps.
@therealjrn Thanks. All 6 of them. And its G-pop right now. Sonny.
lovesac?
@brak
that’s where it’s at
https://morningchores.com/cardboard-furniture/
@radi0j0hn I bet cats LOVE this one:
@radi0j0hn @therealjrn In my household that would shortly become the cardboard “leaf” pile.
@Shagbert @therealjrn every Italian, Spanish, Jewish or Greek kid had a room they weren’t allowed in, with furniture they couldn’t sit on.
@dam091 @therealjrn I’m presuming you mean (all of those)-American kids? Because the Spanish and Italian families I grew up knowing in the UK (and Spain and Italy) certainly didn’t have that as a setup.
@Shagbert @therealjrn I did mean that. Everybody knows USA is assumed unless otherwise noted. MURICA
@dam091 @Shagbert Of course!
@Shagbert A full-size couch would be a VERY tight fit in the “media corner” of my kid’s room.
@slipperyp
Correct.
I was interested…until I read just how tiny they are. 15"x19"?? Did they find some miniature kids for those promo photos?
@fogey2017 2 cushions is 3.16 feet in length. Do you know many kids with legs longer than 3ft? I’m 5’10" and my legs are 3ft long
I’m in for 60 seats & 480 sides. This is perfect to construct my mancave in grey!! :(… Never the right color for me on MEH
I bought these last time and found that they are extremely well made. If they didn’t together for you, I suggest you remind your kids to use them as furniture instead of a funhouse bouncy toy.
How can I order 2 more sides?
@birdtree_yang Head on over to sister site morningsave.com! Easy peasy
@birdtree_yang Meh’s sale was a one day sale. But Morningsave.com, Meh’s sister site has them.
