Bought one of these last time. I do have to say, I normally listen to loud music and these ear buds are REALLY loud so I'm not sure where they get the "adequate for an 8-year-old" from. The character is cute. Totally worth your $3

Wife wanted to get our kids iPod shuffles for Christmas. On sale at Target + red card = $30 ish. Only use would be to hook up to these crappy alarm clocks to get them up for school. So i said, dont get them. Meh might have those Tweedy and Sylvester MP3 players again ...

I have a drawer containing a collection of flash drives, micro sd cards, micro sd to regular sd adapters, and OTG flash drives (1 end is micro USB). I was gonna buy 1 or 2 128 Gb micro sd cards when Amazon was selling them for $40, but i held myself back.

I think they'd be great little gifts for the people at my vet's office. I think there are about a hundred and seventy-two people that work there. Well, maybe that's an exaggeration, but I know there are more than six.
So I went ahead and took one of these, a cheap $5 USB charger, and wired them into the lighting circuit on the elevator at work. We now have elevator music. I am waiting for someone to notice.

@thismyusername@brhfl But the best combos were a mini with a micro purely on price point... They don't do a 2x mini on a good enough price point that I'll buy... unless I run short... HAH... that's a good laugh... I still have 2 micros still in box I'm looking at... I wouldn't mind 1 more Mini however... but not for what Meh wants me to pay for them :)
I just opened the box, and I'm really thrilled about these for a bit over $3. Too bad--REALLY too bad I couldn't get more, cause everyone would have got one for Christmas. And I'd give them to strangers on the street too. But I understand about people would want to re-sell them---which is too bad---- anyway. I'm really ecstatic about these for three bucks. I'm glad there's a place like meh, where every now and then I can get a great piece of junk at an incredible price, and that it gets delivered quick and before Christmas. the best?: Sylvester on the earbud end, a little built -in speaker, nicely packaged.-- the cons?: might be a bit tough to put songs on for adults,(probably kids will have no problem:), no little screen to help with navigation, only the cat. Kid is pleased with sylvester. Proudly wears him on the lanyard, blasting tunes. I appreciate that there is a volume limiter on this thing.
However, I should have read the specs, as he doesn't understand AAC format and most of my iTunes is AAC not old-skool MP3. I'll have to convert some of her faves. In the meantime, we are getting very sick of Katy Perry.
