@sammydog01 In the winter months, my folks used to literally put an old blanket over the motor of our ‘78 Omega to keep it from freezing overnight.
Sooo…yes?
@RedOak Actually as long as you have a few stitches here and there to keep the middle from ballooning out it can make a nice thicker blanket (especially since fleece has gotten thinner these days).
When my daughter was younger I bought one piece that had flower patches sewn on it and another plain colored one that matched. 2.5 yards of 60" fleece makes a nice twin blanket.
I rolled the edge plain colored one on to the “front” to frame the flower side with about a 1.5" strip of that color (didn’t cut it, just made the flowered on a tiny bit smaller than the plain colored one). Then in the middle of each flower put a stitch through to the other side. She loved that thing. It was warm and pretty. Only took me about 3 hours. I had been madly sewing it christmas eve after she (finally) went to bed.
these are great. highly advise. I was having lunch is there a link to prior stuff form the mehrathon so i can see if i missed anything good and buy it elsewhere

Wow! Twin already sold out with less then 30 purchased.
Mehhhh, but I’d take it if it were free.
All colors in Twin sold out?
Sorry, the closets already doth overflowith with cheap microfiber blankets.
So many that we’ve considered sewing them together in multilayer “quilts” for more warmth.
