Last call at Bahama Breeze: Shoddy Goods 084
1Of the various better-than-fast-food-but-still-chains restaurants out there, I probably went to Olive Garden the most. I mean, those breadsticks were pretty great. How about you? Did your family have a go-to restaurant for not-super-special-occasion-but-not-just-drive-thru?

Steak and Ale, occasionally, as well as Red Lobster.
My dad was very skilled in the art of Hasty Bake grilling, so no restaurant experience could possibly compete.
The children were members of Shotgun Sam’s (or was it Shakey’s Pizza?) birthday clubs so we regularly had our own little pizza on birthdays.
What a shame. We have a Bahama Breeze about 15 minutes away and I’ve never had a bad experience there. The “turret” in the one near me has a fire pit in it surrounded by a table. The Caribbean vibe was really cool.
Carraba’s was “our” go-to Italian place. (locally closed 9 yrs ago…)
Also liked Up the Creek when it was still a thing.
