Labor Day fun
720+ years ago our closest friends were v into fishing. They talked us into a fishing trip over Labor Day week. First time we went to Canada, eh?
Then northern Minnesota. Over the next seven years we spent Labor Day week fishing. And camping or cabins.
Then then a couple of jobs changed. And a lay-off. We skipped that year. Then something came up the next year. The following year we didn’t even talk about it.
Then kids came along and the logistics were deemed more trouble than it was worth.
This Past Saturday MIL suggested we take all of the kids fishing. She knew of a friend with a farm pond filled with fish. So this morning we went fishing.
It brought back some memories and created some new ones.

You can get around the image upload for now by saving your pics to some pic service (Google, whatever) and then adding the URL to the post:
