Kirby or something of other Pt.1
4So when I sat down to write this, it was originally going to be about DBD. But I started thinking that not a lot of people know about it. I need something more… “Family Friendly.” But then I saw it.

I knew that I should write an article about this pink puffball. But about what?
Easy. The creatures.

Let’s start with the cute ones. This is an Awoofy, the “Goomba” of the game Kirby and the Forgotten Land, and the first enemy you face. They can be found walking around or sleeping on the scenery. They also have a larger, more “feral” form in the late game, but they still act the same.
10/10 Pettablility - Tis a fluffy little puppy :3

Here we have Plugg, debuting in Kirby 64, giving the Spark ability if inhaled. Nothing much else, just thought it was cool.
8/10 Pettability - Might get electrucuted.

This guy is a classic, appearing in almost all Kirby games. His name is Sir Kibble, and he gives you the Cutter ability. He is a really cool armored dude.
7/10 Pettability - Pokey

A mid-boss in the Kirby saga. He’s a cool stag beetle that will break your spinal cord via WWE tactics. He occasionally gives you the Suplex ability, depending on the game. In the anime, he gets brutally sliced in half by Kirby.
Sheesh.
6/10 Pettability - It’s a bug.

Speaking of the anime, this character only appeared in it, but I still consider it canonical, and this is my article, okay? So, Wolfwrath was the main antagonist of Episode 24 of Kirby Right Back at Ya!, and it almost killed Meta Knight. Its main power was fire breath, and the more fires it started, the more powerful it got. Exponentially.
So Kirby dunked it in water, causing it immeasurable pain, and proceeded to slice it in half.
This is a running theme in the anime.
4/10 Pettability - Fluffy, but might light you on fire and disembowel
I was planning to add three more enemies, but the images suddenly stopped working, so there will be a part 2 coming soon.

I fixed your shruggie friend, and if you need help getting anything else working, lmk.
@Thumperchick Thx : )
Nice write up. I have never played any of the games but I still read the whole thing.
Plugg is my favourite.
@yakkoTDI Yeah, they’re pretty dope. I’ve seen people make little figurings using AC adaptors. Could be a cool little knick-knack.
I only understood a little, but I think Awoofy is cute enough to take home. Kind of like that one time I tried to home a feral cat.
Interesting write up!
@therealjrn They are actually really chill. They are just brainwashed.
More on that later.
Am I the only one who still connects the name Kirby to those overweight (and overpriced) vacuum cleaners sold by door-to-door salespeople from the days of yore?
@narfcake
The name is actually a coincidence.
/showme a cat pondering an old metal upright vacuum cleaner in one thought bubble, a round pink video game character eating everything in sight in a second thought bubble, and a cheeseburger in a third thought bubble.
@narfcake
There are no coincidences @Wollyhop
/showme a learned, guru goat telling @Wallyhop “there are no coincidences”
@therealjrn Here’s the image you requested for “a learned, guru goat telling @Wallyhop there are no coincidences”
