@Targaryen oh no. I have plenty of lights. We sell them at work so over the years I’ve been collecting. Last year was the worst where I bought boxes of life LED lights for $1-2 a piece.
It was actually the base to a discontinued decoration, so I had to fix it.
@macromeh The grocery I go to usually doesn’t get the different types they only buy regular 25% less sodium, and lite. Don’t worry I used the spam for breakfast stuff, not actual turkey.
I got worried that my turkey wasn’t thawed so I took it out of the fridge to make sure. And now it won’t fit back in there. Looks like dinner just got moved up a couple of hours.
@Targaryen Possibly salty tears and crispy disappointment, but then again, deep fried pickles as well as deep fried Oreos/Snickers/Fried Chicken Noodle Soup On A Stick all have their fans.
It’ll probably taste like that fried hotdog part of a corndog that had some of the batter knocked off before the corndog was dropped into the hot oil.
Man, now I have a craving for fair food. I’ve heard Texas has the best…
Only one daughter is in comfortable driving distance and no one is flying in this year. My daughter was only available Monday and Tuesday because of work, so we had a downsized turkey dinner with her and my wife’s parents on Tuesday. So today is just me and my wife and leftovers. (I love Thanksgiving leftovers! )
Putting up some Christmas lights. I broke one of my outdoor light trees last night so I stopped. I’m back at it after a repair. Hopefully it’ll hold.
Going to go to my friend’s soon.
@RiotDemon Lights are fairly cheap at Target right now. Not sure what type you have but they even have those giant chunky ones for sale.

Or you could carve a bird from this and have the main course and the dessert done in one go:
@rockblossom Oh no…
So, you gonna deep fry that sucker, or what?
@LaVikinga I wonder what dfeep fried spam tastes like. I just usually have it regular pan fried.

Have a few hours before going to pick up our meal. Might go hit the slopes for a couple runs.
