I was headed down that path, but my wife shut it down. I did have 88 orders from Amazon in the last three months though. Feel like I need to tip the recycle guys this holiday season. I’ve kept them busy Oh… and the three cases of wine from casemates.com #notasponsor have been awesome
@capnjb Already broke my 2018 record of 132 orders from Amazon with 142 this year so far and still over a month to go. You have no idea how much time it takes to cut down all these empty boxes for the recycling bin.
@capnjb@Felton10 It’s Warehouse, which means there’s usually only one. If an item is really cheap, you have to buy it right away. Waiting to checkout is just asking for the item to be sold out from under you.
@narfcake I guess that shows not all cats are scared of them like that other video that has showed up on here more than once. I would imagine originally she was thinking she’d get a bunch of terrified cats doing wild, crazy leaps. I am glad that didn’t happen as that would be mean. I do wonder if she ate that ton of cucumbers after making that video.
@capnjb Yes Walter is an African Grey and he can be very stubborn when he wants to be. We got him when he was 10 weeks old and have had him for 25 years.
@Felton10 Very cool… in the late 80’s I worked in a pet store and we had an African Grey that ended up with a respiratory issue and needed antibiotics orally for quite some time. It was a two person job and I typically drew the short straw and got to hold him. He was a jerk…heh. Even with THICK leather gloves that guys bite hurt like a bitch. But it gave the other person an opportunity to get the dropper in his mouth. I gave that bird the bird quite a bit But we got him all fixed up… so there’s that
@capnjb Walter has different bite strengths such as don’t bother me which is very light or if he is mad at you he can definitely cause some damage-my wife on one occasion had blood dripping on the floor from a bite when she was holding him.
When we first got him, had to feed him his pablum with a syringe-looked sort of like a baby bird gulping down a worm his mother had just fed him. I asked them how will I know when he is ready for solid food-they said he will let you know. Well about a month later gave him his food and he started shaking his beak and got the pablum all over me and everything else. Tried it one more time and and same thing happened- that was it for the pablum.
Considering Walter’s species is considered to be the most intelligence of the parrot species, he has a lot to learn. He still hasn’t mastered the fact that you are supposed to go on the perch-not under it.
You go, Shopper!
@f00l If I order anything else, I am going out the door courtesy of my wife.

@capnjb I’m afraid to look. I buy a lot from Amazon Warehouse, so lots are 1-item orders on the cheap.
97 cents for a box of dryer sheets? 16 cents for a toilet wax ring? 4 cents for Apple USB-C to USB-A adapters? Sure, why not!

@Felton10 If my wife asks any questions, you never saw me.
@capnjb @Felton10 74 orders here in the last 30 days. Eep!
@Felton10 @narfcake Nice hustle!
@capnjb WOW-almost 1 a day-do you have an amazon credit card to get 5% off on all you orders? Mums the word.
@capnjb @narfcake Not sure there is any medication for 74 orders in 30 days.
@Felton10 @narfcake I believe that would be ‘more cowbell’

@Felton10 @capnib @narfcake
Do you folks need a bigger house yet to support
your shopping disorderyour efforts to rebuild the economy?@Kidsandliz No just a bigger garage because that is where all the junk goes.
We are using all our boxes to make a cat fort!
@stevcruise How do you make a cat fart? Oh, wait… nevermind. I’ll be in the corner.
@stevcruise
@narfcake I watched another one with those cats. That owner has an evil, creative mind
@Kidsandliz Yeah, she used cucumbers!

Hey-Walter likes boxes also
@Felton10 Is Walter an African Grey? Those guys can be sonsabitches. But probably not Walter
