June 25 - Goatertainment - Trivia time!
4Sorry for missing a few days of Goatertainment, everyone. I had to bail my mom out of county, I think this tattoo is infected and steam is coming out of the grill like the whole goddamn town is ready to blow.
But enough about me! Here’s some trivia questions I wrote back when I used to host bar trivia. Whisper me your answers, please! You can Google these, but you’ll have more fun if you try to puzzle 'em out yourself. And remember… there’s no prize, so why cheat yourself?!
- X was a spin-off of Y. Your choices are: Dynasty, Dallas, Knot’s Landing and Falcon Crest.
- There are three movies that starred Sydney Greenstreet, Humphrey Bogart and Peter Lorre. Name two of them.
- What city in Italy should you visit if you want to see Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper?
- Name 4 countries that start with the letter K. (Neither of the Koreas count.)
- In 1965, William Shatner starred in Incubus, a horror film where all the dialog was spoken in what unusual language?
- Which continent has the shortest tallest mountain?
- Name the Seven Dwarves from Snow White.
- The first Unabomber explosion, the acceptance of blacks into the Mormon church, Pope John Paul II becomes the first Polish Pope and the Police release their first album. What year was it?
- In which movie does Robert Mitchum have the words LOVE and HATE tattooed on his knuckles?
- Which book of the Bible has the most chapters?
I gotta million of 'em. If you like these, maybe I’ll do more later in the week! Happy Monday, y’all.

@compunaut you’re a champ!
I’m so stupid…I only know the dwarfs
@tinamarie1974 I’m right there with you.
@RiotDemon @tinamarie1974 - Oh come on, EVERYbody knows two movies Bogart, Lorre, and Greenstreet were in. They’re the stuff the beginning of beautiful friendships were made of!
For all the other questions, my answer is “Canada.”
@aetris @tinamarie1974 it doesn’t help that I have no idea who Lorre and Greenstreet are. Bogart is pretty hazy as well.
@aetris @RiotDemon nor do I. Either I’m too young or I need to get out more lol
@aetris @RiotDemon @tinamarie1974 a good all-purpose answer to any trivia question is “Imelda Marcos”.

@RiotDemon @tinamarie1974 - Bogart was the guy who was always stealing stuff. Greenstreet was an early conservationist. Lorre was known for truckin’.
@aetris @RiotDemon @UncleVinny oh, I LOVE her. I remember seeing a news report on her and her shoes when I was a kid. She was my inspiration for my shoe/closet goals

@tinamarie1974 - You bogarted Bogart is correct usage.
