It's National Underwear Day!
12That’s right, it’s Natural Underwear Day, a day of chic runway events and other tributes to the nether garments trade.
So what to do if you don’t live in New York City or some other Mecca of ho couture? Here are some ideas:
–Give those nasty undies a break and wash them for chrissakes!
–Hold your own underwear fashion show. For the sake of social distancing, hold it in the street, park, or cul-de-sac.
Give your underwear the day off and go commando. Or better yet, au naturel.

Last 2 years I got free underwear for underwear day, this year nothing, I’m disappointed.

I got my underwear on. Nothin’ fancy, no hot cooter, just boxers.
I actually have found I like bamboo undies. Nice and silky feel. Renewable resource (although how the fibers are extracted aren’t always perfectly ecological, but can be at little extra cost). Also bamboo moisture wicks, warms when cold and cools when hot… What’s more it doesn’t allow bacteria to grow. Plus bamboo undies don’t shrink and seem to last well.
All new undies and most socks I buy these days are made of bamboo. Stronger, softer, better for the environment than cotton…
