It's election day, what specials do you know of?
1I feel like there are always deals with your "I voted" sticker. The only one I know of this year is the lady at the voting station said that Starbucks is doing free coffee but I have no details. Anyone else know of any?

None in NJ. I know for certain that those stickers are illegal to give out here at polling places. I think that promotions of any sort, even if it's just a pinky swear to verify, is illegal too. You may be able to give something away/discounted to someone if they say something generic (e.g., "election day", not "I voted").
@JerseyFrank the sticker actually says "I {ohio silhouette} voting"
@JerseyFrank Do you know why? I always considered them a prompt to remind others to go and vote. Kind of like when they are having a blood driv at City Hall and you see people walking around with brightly colored bandages it reminds you to go and give blood.
@moondrake strict interpretation of law forbidding paying for votes
No stickers or proof of voting in Washington. It's all mail in. Hope the mid-term goes as well as the scapegoat vote.
Found it in writing:

Apparently it's illegal:

@moondrake Weeellllll ok
@chellemonkey
@JonT As a person of my particular persuasions living in Collin County, Texas, that's pretty much how I feel every time I vote. Which I do. Because I'm into futility like that.
Buy a Governor, get a State Senator free.
