Ah, yeah so close to '21, and a brief hope that things will magically sort themselves rather than continue on this slow decline until we accept that “This is the Way” and just start wear full helmets. They help stem the plague AND make it harder to tell if I, or a dummy, are in front of my camera for the meeting Microsoft Teams. They blocked the gifs. I’m a geek, my gifs are part of my religion!
@simplersimon Check this out. The first part is sad and frankly horrific but the really interesting bit starts at 6:15 about the article from a doctor at Johns Hopkins University that was up for 4 days and then was taken down.
By the way, Tim Pool is one of the most straight shooting journalistic vloggers you will find. Solid sources and analysis, imo.
@AuntMean67@simplersimon Tim doesn’t try to be sensational but he’s never boring. He’s not as funny as Steven Crowder but less intense than Ben Shapiro. Tim also doesn’t claim to always be right. Very down to earth. One of my favorite news sources. Considers himself center-left libertarian - which oddly turns out to be in alignment with a lot of my conservative perspectives.
@f00l if Yellowstone blows, I win the office pool (and lose my life). If we get a Day After Tomorrow ice age, I win a pool with some guys from church (and lose my life). If it’s a something from space, I lose all the pools, and our family pool, but also lose my life so I won’t have to pay anyone.
